SHARPAL 101N 6-In-1 Pocket Knife Sharpener and Survival Tool, with Fire Starter, Whistle and Diamond Sharpening Rod, Quickly Restore and Hone Straight and Serrated Blade

I am not skilled at sharpening knives with a knife sharpener. This took a basic penknife and made it as sharp as a retractable penknife made by a well known manufacturer, in less than 5mins. I got sparks off the fire starter enough to show me it can be used to start a fire. It's durable, light and portable.

More like 3.5 ⭐️,sharpener and honing are ok on stainless steel (Swiss army knife etc) however DO NOT use the honing edge for high carbon steel (opinel, buck and such) as it just Kinney dulls them a bit? The sharpening edge is good for both however I was a wee disappointed with the honing edge as even with stainless steel I still felt like I had to give it a few strops on a leather belt aft. But overall it was pretty good and quite effective for the job I had!

Handy little tool

I've had a small kitchen knife for years that I couldn't sharpen with a steel or various grade whetstones.I've had a British Army penknife for 16 years that had exactly the same problem.I'm not kidding, a couple of minutes or less on each knife and they are as sharp as razors, unbelievable!! I didn't even need to use the ceramic part to finish the sharpening as the steel part did the job perfectly.Definitely worth the money, I recommend 100%.

Better ones out there for not much more money. The hone for serrated blades is quite loose so be careful. It wont bring back a a badly worn blade. This is only for a bit of refinement, But still not the best. I’ll be Keeping it the car for use on the go with my multitool or pen knife.

Great portable sharpener, i have a wet stone which is quite heavy and there's a technique to using it which if I'm honest I don't have but the SHARPAL makes it easier, it's more viscous than a wet stone but it certainly works my mora campanion HD and ultafors ok4 were pretty blunt due to my attempt on the wet stone but this SHARPAL has put a very sharp edge on both they can take hairs of my arm and the ultimate 'cut through paper test',it's also put a sharp edge on my more expensive kitchen knives I was thinking of replacing but not know, im impressed but wish there was an alternative postage option other than £4.99/£5.99...as the SHARPAL cost£9.99 and I paid £4.99 postage 🤔, a third option would be nice but I do understand fuel costs have risen plus general overheads due to the war in the Ukraine, other than it's all good and would say buy with confidence it's a great little unit oh yes and it's got a loud whistle too... 👍
