Small thin book but packed with just the reference material your looking for.

I'd recommend this product to those who are experienced programmers in one of the languages on the book and who really wants to be able to focus soley on Regexp for their language. The book goes into some details of what regex is and also how it can be used in different recipes. Great book

I like this book as it gives good examples for major programming languages using the same case scenarios. Very useful and easy to follow.

I have found the pocket book useful for some examples, not only in PHP (using it) but even for other languages in specific Java. It gives you a good patterns idea and level for further readings/understandings.Good start.

Do you know the difference between a poor marksman and a constipated owl? One shoots but can't hit while the other hoots but can't s***. Browsing through this book has not helped reduce constipation.

Meh book, hard to understand what is going on

I have used this book as my Regex bible religiously since it's release. I know everything contained within is found on the Internet, but this does a tremendous job of putting it in a simple format, with decent examples. I also like how I can reference other language implementations so easily.Maybe it's because it is the format I have always been used to, but this little handy pocket reference is the only reference book that lives permanently on my desk.And yes, I am a fan of using Regular Expressions when it's appropriate. Pick the right tool for the job!

Es un excelente libro de referencia que cualquier programador agradecería tener cerca. No es muy inmersivo en los temas pero tiene lo necesario para salir a flote de situaciones normales.

No estoy acostumbrado a este formato de O'REILLY. La letra es más pequeña, el espaciado es más pequeño y parece que han comprimido todo para meterlo en un libro tan pequeño.Lo que más me gusta de estos libros es la facilidad de lectura, pero en este caso... creo que será difícil. Respecto los conceptos y la forma de explicarlos no puedo opinar todavía.
