Product description The Chambers Natural Tick Repellent is a product which has to be applied before each walk. REVISED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: This tick repellent is non-toxic and the minimum dosages given below are to provide a guide for effective protection. Small breeds (eg Yorkshire Terrier) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck and once above the dog's tail. Please note that the spray head has a little lever lock which needs to be turned fully either left or right for the spray to work Medium breeds (eg Beagle) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck, once above the dog's tail and once on each side of the body. Large breeds (eg Labrador) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck, once above the dog's tail and twice on each side of the body. * If your dog is nervous about being sprayed near the head, you can spray its collar before putting it on. Ticks locate their host by using their sense of smell. They also detect the carbon dioxide dogs breathe out, detect movement and changes in temperature. This natural tick repellent is designed to throw ticks off the scent by using smells they do not like. The MSM sulphur enhances this effect. Sulphur is good for dogs and is often used as a supplement to aid joints health. The scent of the spray can be described as lemon sherbet. Before first use, unscrew the top and let your dog sniff the bottle. Most likely it will accept the scent and will soon start to associate it with the positive action of going for a walk.
