I bought this as a replacement for another adapter that just did not work properly (as in SPEED). After a little tweaking in my device settings this adapter took off and never looked back. I have a 2x2 gig connection and this Adapter works, not sure about the 5gb. The cost was a little bit higher than the ones I was replacing but worth it as its pretty much plug in and go. It's small enough that it is hidden on my desk and the cable is great quality and so is the housing which is aluminum. I can't remember where I found the tweaks for the adapter, so I can't include that. But, overall, this product is worth the few dollars. Make sure you use a Quality Cat 6E or higher cable, the speed difference is crucial, at least in my setup. Customer support is great!!! I just had a question, and they answered that and more. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a USB C to RJ45 adapter. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up if you're looking for something like this.

This is the perfect adapter, especially for laptop/Chromebook owners. Laptops rarely have enough USB ports, and this handy adapter fixes that issue readily. It adds four extra USB ports to a computer and an extra HDMI port as well. Works with laptops or desktop computers. Another use for this adapter is in cars and trucks. Many newer vehicles now come with only USB-C ports; this adapter allows you to connect older technology devices that use USB-2.0 and USB 3.0. It works exactly as expected! UGREEN is known for making great tech accessories, and they haven't failed me yet. This device seems to be of great quality thus far, especially for a device that was only around $10! All parts feel made-to-last, and the metal casing legitimately adds a more premium feel. I've been wanting to buy a USB-c to HDMI device to use with my Surface Pro 8 and an external monitor for a while now, and I finally decided to go with this one as I could not see myself needing any other ports besides HDMI and USB-A. Simple and portable, just what I wanted.

Feels like a quality well-built product. I have only had it a few days and have only used it a few times so far, but I have had zero issues with it. I don't foresee any future issues however I will update my review should anything go sideways.I bought this so that I could link my Samsung phone to a monitor with wireless keyboard/mouse and use the Dex function of the phone. For those of you that don't know some Samsung phones have a future called Dex allowing you to use your phone as a desk top computer by simply plugging your phone into a monitor using a HDMI to USB type C cable. The nice thing about this unit is that it has extra ports allowing you to use a keyboard and mouse. This adapter/hub works great for this task and after purchasing it I found a number of videos online of people using this same one for the same thing.

The built quality is really good but realize that it didn’t have SD Card slot for it.I took this to my brother’s graduation ceremony and can’t transfer my photos to computer.If there is SD Card slot on the hub would be nice.

Super helpful especially for someone with a MacBook without the USB capability. I’ve been able to hook a couple things in it, including the charging cord and it works perfectly without having to worry about the cord or anything getting knocked out of my computer. I also use this with my second screen and it connects to. It’s definitely lightweight and it’s easy enough in my bags.

I've been using this to run DeX on my Galaxy S25+. It works great for that purpose and it's an affordable solution. This thing is plug and play so far and I haven't had to fiddle with it at all. I've powered it with a ugreen power brick and run accessories like the Logitech K400 Plus and other keyboard/mice. I like it so much I'm looking to get a stationary dock from ugreen to leave at each of my TVs for easy hookup.

Works great with my 2024 MacBook Air.
