Excellent for Large, Hard-to-Reach Windows
I probably have the perfect use case for this window-cleaning robot—our home has more than a dozen oversized windows, many of them nearly impossible to reach. On our square windows, the robot is completely autonomous and does an excellent job removing dust and restoring that bright, clear finish. For the triangle-shaped ones, I simply switch to manual control via the app, which works well. The app itself is straightforward and offers just the right amount of functionality.I also bought extra cleaning pads, which I use with water for mostly streak-free results. I’ve seen a tip in another review about using vinegar for even better clarity—definitely planning to try that next. The safety cords can be a little awkward, but it’s a small trade-off for how much work this robot saves. Overall, I’m super satisfied and highly recommend it for anyone with large or hard-to-reach windows.

Genius Product!
I love this WinBot so much that I just ordered a 2nd one that will be designated for outside windows only. After the cord drags thru the flower beds while washing my windows, I don't want to bring that dirty cord into the house. I've done 20 interior windows already and it's doing a terrific job and can't wait to do the exteriors. The cleaner that came with the product left streaks, so instead of using it, I put 1 teasp white vinegar in with 2 oz of distilled water and it leaves the windows perfectly clean. After doing the first 12 windows, I ordered an extra pack of the cleaning pads (9) so I can get a whole batch of windows done without having to hurry and wash the cloth while the other one is in use, getting dirty. Also, I have 3M tinted film on my windows to prevent sun glare and the machine didn't damage it. I'm not sure if you would have the same results, it may depend on how old your film is or what brand you have.

Read this review: I've had similar issues, yet different, than others. Updated 2/26/22
I've ordered three of these and so far one has had to go back because of complaints others had here. Number two may not be far behind. We have several different brand robot vacs and they're really not that different from each other, but all the ones we had were black. We recently moved into a new house with white floor casings (moldings) and noted that in our old house the black ones left some black scuff marks on the casings on the occasions they might bump them so we wanted to go with a white product in the new house. On January 25 we ordered one, very quickly received our first white Deebot, and quickly put it to work. It works AWESOME so we ordered another one so we could run two to effectively pick our our yellow labs shedding fur. I've run this original one twice a day somedays and its great...so far.On January 28, I ordered the second IDENTICAL deebot via Amazon's "Buy it again" feature. This one was filthy upon arrival with dust all over it, and long hair both in the brush and the collection bin with a bunch of dust there as well. Further, although it was in identical box depicting a white debit, this one was black. We immediately returned it with no issue...love that about Amazon. On February 11, I ordered another white Deebot. It was clean, and at a glance, I saw no issues. I charged it up and put it to work. It worked well, but the brush at the vacuum port kept popping off. Not a lot, but at least once a run. Today, I decided to trouble shoot it and noted VOILA, my other Deebot has a little cage that keeps the brush in place. This one did not. Issue identified.Rather than return this one too, I called Ecovac (Deebot Parent Company) about 10 minutes ago because they advertise a really good warranty. I went through the usual providing of my name, the model number, phone number etc and here's the order of events.First - I was urged to return it. I was like, "Really? You can't just fire me off a $1 part?" I was told I could buy the part, but for warranty replacement I needed to take further steps.Second - Having received a "no" to request #1, I was directed to email proof of purchase to Ecovac. I told the man I would screenshot it right then and there on my phone and text or email it directly to him. Nope. I was given a ticket number and told I had to send the requested info in and wait for a response. I was promised that he would look for it to arrive, and that he or someone else would get back to me in a few hours.Third - I'll update you to see how this goes.So far, these are minor issues, but they're adding up. Minor quibbles, but minor quibbles I don't need, and have not experienced with my other machines (Amarey 800s and 900s).UPDATE 2/26/22: The day following my submission, I received confirmation they had what they needed and were sending it to the correct department for review. A couple of days later, I received a tracking number and that the part was sent, and that I was getting an additional main brush to go with it. Awesome, I thought, cuz they do wear out over time. I thanked them via email only to get a response that it was a mistake, and that only the brush cover was sent. I asked a manager to contact me. A day later, I got a call. OK...so I got the warranty item in the mail after 5 or 6 days and it fits. They're also sending me a main brush so I'm updating my review to 4 Stars. Both of the two remaining Deebots are now working beautifully and do a great job, but I'm not looking forward to dealing with warranty service again if needed.

Product defective out of box
Bought this on Christmas Day 2023. Paid nearly $450.00 w/two sets of extra pads. Too cold to clean windows when it arrived. So, I put it in the back closet and completely forgot about it. Remembered it last night when I was cleaning house. Box was still taped up when I opened it. Was looking forward to using it.Installed iPhone app and followed set up instructions. However, when I went to use it, it said "please connect to power source" over and over again. It was plugged in (and had been for a few hours already). Thought maybe it just needed additional charging, so left it plugged in overnight.Same thing this morning. I then got to looking for help online and found that this is a frequent problem. Many others reported that their cleaner also did not work out of box.I called Ecovacs customer service and explained the situation. We did some trouble shooting and the representative confirmed that the robot was defective. She then said it was not their problem because the product (although brand new out of box) had been purchased more than a year ago. I could send it to a third-party for repair and my own cost. Absolutely less than helpful.Amazon has a (no exceptions) one-year limit on returns and exchanges. I understand and appreciate that it is not necessarily their problem. But, you would hope that a manufacturer would stand behind its product -- especially when they admitted that the product was defective and that this appears to be a known problem with other customers.Apparently, however, Ecovacs conducts business differently. I never wanted (or requested) my money back. I simply wanted them to replace it with a non-defective item. But I guess that is too much to ask. Buyer beware.
