Update: The supplier worked with me quickly, after they contacted me, to get this resolved. One thing was to have the correct cables, if you have different video ports. Some cables are only 1-way, from source to display.=====================================I bought this switch my second screen between using it with my laptop and having 2 screens with my desktop computer. When I switch it over to use one screen with my laptop, it does not connect. The screen works fine connected directly to my laptop and my desktop. It just doesn't connect through the switch.

I don't know if it's my dock or the switch but sometimes I have to unplug everything. Haven't had to do that for a while now. Overall, it does what it's supposed it.

Garbage don't buy this. Not even gonna waste my time explaining, just doing buy.

Worked well for a couple of months. Very suddenly, there was interference and glitching. After hours of troubleshooting, we simply remove the device and all the interference and glitching is gone. No clue what happened, and we're well out of the return period. Recommend finding a different product for this particular need.

There was some flicketing issue with the DP cables I was using but the seller helped me resolve the issue with new cables which worked without an issue. A+ effort to the seller on after sales support. The switch works great. Remember to attach the provided power cable to a good USB power source.

I was not able to 144hz refresh rate at first, signal would drop. I had a 6.5 ft cable on the input side, switched it out to a 3.5 ft cable and then was able to get 144hz. I'm not sure of the length of the cable on the monitor side, but I have a 1.5 ft cable on order that I will be using.So, If you are planning on using this in your setup, you want to plan on having the PCs and monitors as close to each other as possible if you want to achieve a high refresh rate. Luckily for me, in my situation everything is in close proximity.

Item does work as described but I ended up needing something different definitely an A+ seller My issue had nothing to do with them but was my own mistake

Allows me easily switch between laptop and docking station and desktop. It required external power like from usb port of a desktop pc and that was a surprise but I found a way around.
