Carburetor Replacement for Kohler CH620 CH640 CH18 CH18S CH20 CH22 CH23 CH25 CH26 Replaces 24 853 43-S 24 853 50-S, 24 053 58-S, 24 853 32-S, 24 853 59-S Carb

I used this carburetor as a replacement on my 2001 CH25. As such, this engine uses a rocker driven fuel pump so the pulse type pump furnished will not be applicable. It will saved for future use as a replacement on a different engine because it does appear to be a quality part. You will probably want to use a different fuel line and fuel filter than the one included. I really don't think I'd likely use a jet cleaning tool on a brand new carb but, it will go into my tools. As for the carb, its great. I've used several Chinese clone carburetors on various engines including singles, twins, 2-strokes, etc. and I have yet to be disappointed. For less than the price of a "K" brand service kit, you can replace the whole carb! It's quick and it's easy plus it starts and runs fantastic. You will need to transfer the nylon insert from the thottle lever where the cable attaches and the furnished gasket for the carb to manifold is not thick enough to allow for throttle lever clearance. I have owned this machine since it had 100 hours on it and it has never run better. Instant starts, smooth and steady idle, no pops /sputters or surges and runs out strong.

Fits perfectly on the engine and cables fine. But thee are some differences to the OEM version like the connecting plate for the throttle and choke. Even though they hook up the same, its just different and maybe because it fits on more models or its a better design.

This carburetor is worth the money in my opinion.
