A friend of mine suggested this and I tried it. I like it. I like to fish along a rocky river and normally carry a 5 gallon bucket to sit on. This is very portable and collapses flat. It is a bit heavy but the seat is much more comfortable than the plastic Bucket and the height is adjustable.It is very stable even on an uneven/gravel surface.It has a carrying strap that you can use to carry over your shoulder. It is a bit heavier than I would like but over all I would recommend this seat.

My son is starting to attend auditions, which often mean a lot of waiting without seating. These are light enough for each of us to carry our own, fit easily into a backpack and are adjustable so that we both have a place to sit when there aren’t any available. I keep them in my trunk for all sorts of things like amusement park days, parades, etc. they come in very handy. I thought about getting a cushion – not a bad idea but also not really necessary. They’re comfy enough If you’re on the fly and not sitting for hours at a time

This stool was purchased to assist with quick costume changes and other needs for dance competition weekends. This is the perfect addition to any dance bag. My daughter loves the ease of setting it up and has enjoyed using it over and over again. It folds nicely to fit in a dance bag or you can throw it over your shoulder and carry it. It was such a hit that multiple dancers have purchased this stool. Would definitely recommend.

This stool is exactly what I needed. It functions well, easy to setup and take down. I install a lot of cabling and this has been a life saver. I would buy again for sure.

I used this at a dance competition. Man it was so nice to just post up on a wall and read my books. The only downside is after two hours your butt will hurt for the seat. So the cushion add on my be my next purchase.

As an older man who is a little out of shape, this stool comes in handy for hiking. Gives me a place to sit and rest a bit when I do not care to sit on the ground and there are no down trees or stumps to sit on. Also, sitting on the ground or using tree stumps can sometimes bring on chiggers, ticks or other biting insects. Sometimes all I need is a minute to sit and rest and then I can carry on my walk. This is very handy and sturdy.

I bought this to use as a seat for my shooting "bench". Sturdy enough and does not wobble when placed on an even surface. It gets the job done and just what I was looking for in a shooting seat. When I am done shooting, it collapses into a convenient size for storage.

This seat is very sturdy and extremely easy to open/close. I’m 225lbs and it feels very solid beneath me. This is a great one to throw in the stroller for the long lines and Disney.

Good concept but poor quality of plastic and locking mechanism.I ordered 3 stools and opened 2 and sat in my garden. Within 15 mins both stools broke.I don't recommend this at all. Waste of money. The third stool will be as a memory to remind me to the sad experience as I ordered to a different place.

While the stated load capacity of 400 lbs (180 kg) makes it sound very sturdy, it's anything but. I tested it by gingerly sitting on it a couple of times, and it held up. But a few days after that, I sat on it as I would on any other chair and the plastic mechanism broke into pieces, and dumped me on the floor.Also, the unit I received wouldn't extend to its full height, so QC is poor as well.I would recommend this only if you're planning to use it as a portable table, and not for seating, since it's just not safe enough.

Order a blue one but a black one arrived. Chair is quite sturdy and can be open and closed easily. However, the price is too expensive. Found out I can get it cheaper elsewhere as it is manufactured in China
