Easy fix

I installed the new part and it works great

Switch was not exact fit replacement.
Had to rotate switch 90 deg. so that the switch knob would line up in the off position. had to work with the wiring in order to get it to reach the switch.After modification it seems to be working as it should.

Don’t take shortcuts, buy OEM
It worked one day before sparks shot out of the back of the control panel and a direct short tripped the breaker. The wiring harness of the range had to be cut and modified before it could be installed. Buying OEM will avoid these modifications. It was installed properly or it would not have worked properly at all. I felt comfortable modifying the wiring because I’ve had over thirty years experience servicing household appliances, commercial appliances, HVAC, and commercial refrigeration. Before buying, compare the physical size and dimensions. It’s so tiny it’s almost cute!
