I thought this was a great purchase! The boxes assembled pretty easily once I figured out how to hold the box while putting on the rubber band. I thought the rubber bands were too short but they weren’t. I was nervous to stretch the rubber band because I thought it would break the hook inside of the cardboard but the hook was sturdy and the rubber band stretched to the hook on the other side well After I assembled everything, I trialed it. The first 2 times, I opened it fast but the effect was not so good. The 3rd time I trialed it I opened it slowly and it worked out great! I would recommend you try it too so you can see for yourself and can prep the birthday person to open quickly or slowly. I trialed it with the money but not the confetti. I didn’t want to clean up a big mess! I placed 20 bills in between the boxes. I also placed the confetti it came with and some star confetti of my own. It’s a good buy for the price instead of the usual card with monetary gift. My daughter opened it up and stopped like 3/4’s of the way. Then continued opening. The effect was good but I think if she hadn’t stopped, it would have worked better. The first few boxes popped most of the money and confetti out. Some of the boxes took a second or 2 longer. I didn’t mind this. It was actually funny that some were still going! My only other tip is, after you assemble the boxes and notice that some have an arch (I had some this way, likely because I didn’t assemble it accurately), I would suggest to place it in the box with the arch pointing up. Overall, it was a really neat thing and my daughter was surprised and amused by it.

Easy to put together and the boxes flew out just like described! My daughter LOVED it!

this box is very lovely. has many cards inside and makes the present even more thoughtful. will buy it again

Assembly wasn't too hard. The box is smaller than a standard us dollar, so you will have to fold them. I'm not sure if the extra bulk of the folded money created too much pressure on the "popping boxes", but there was no pop. Total waste of time and money. Could have just wadded up the cash and thrown it at the recipient.Would not recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  It took a little bit of time to figure out how to put these together, but once I did and tested it, it was amazing. Well worth the six dollars. Would’ve paid a lot more for it now that I know what it does. I added money at the very bottom and also some confetti under the layers.

The main box nicely made for cardboard. I guess the inside main box are same material. Small amount confetti. Problem is the poorly written instructions. Make no sense. Like having no instructions! I don’t even know how to correctly load the gift boxes so they'll explode! Two stars for the boxes. Hire me or some who can write instructions correctly! Now i need to go online yo figure this out…

Quality is great; directions a little hard to understand. Also, wish the boxes, when they’re flat, were the length of bills for ease in inserting the money.

Was a great surprise for my niece. Was a little cumbersome to get the rubber bands into place but once I did, it was great! I layered bills in between the flat boxes and added in the confetti. Wish I would have purchased a bit more of the confetti. She was very surprised at what popped out at her.
