Bluetooth Transmitter - it works
Quick - it works in transmitter mode, comes with useful cables that are long enough, and the display screen is very helpful. Doesn't come with a charging block (but what does nowadays). I haven't tried in RX mode so can't speak to that.Detailed - I tried 3 other options before this transmitter and they weren't great. Some issues I had with the other options that I found on amazon - latency or audio lag, blind device connection, lacking connection cables, requiring charging/ not powered, not reconnecting or remembering the same device when it's powered back on, really bright distracting indicator lights, and disconnecting at short distances. This one works and doesn't have any of those issues. The screen is key and makes it so much easier to pair with devices and check volume and status. If you press the play/pause button you can mute your device, but using the controls on your headset work fine too. It came with various connecting cables. I used the optical as I wanted to use bluetooth headphones to connect and listen to tv audio. I've not tried to use it in receiver mode. I have experienced zero audio lag. It remembers the devices that I've connected it to after it's been powered off. Has distinct separate buttons that make it more usable. I've had clear connection about 25 feet away (unobstructed).Only negative for me is that it does not auto-shut off when not in use and the volume light is always on.

great little piece of tech
my tozo T12 Bluetooth ear buds kept disconnecting from my Samsung TV, and through Internet sleuthing I discovered it was likely due to a incompatiblity between the Bluetooth versions in the hardware.. I didn't even know products like this existed, but when I read the suggestion in one of the online boards that this might solve the issue, I had to give it a go. this little device does exactly what it promises to, and best of all it solves my issue. not to mention the added benefit of being able to now use Bluetooth music sources on my non-bluetooth equipped home stereo. wish I'd gotten one of these things a long time ago

Worked once, now it just blows up my ear drums
its a piece of crap and worked once...now it just makes loud noises and isn't actually the noises you'd expect, just random loud noise. AVOID

Almost perfect
Used for Headphones to listen to tv optical output. Seamless setup. Like the volume control, versatility and build quality seems good. A bit more latency than I like, but I do recommend this transmitter. At this price, it is a real steal .

Works great
This is a nice unit. Comes with very good diagrams and instructions for each mode and it's easy to use. I use it in receiver mode to add Bluetooth streaming to my old AV receiver, and in transmitter mode to send TV audio to my Bluetooth headset. I like that you can have it wired for both configurations and just switch the mode as you need it. The best feature for me is that it converts Bluetooth audio directly to digital optical audio. Other devices I tried required a separate converter. So all I'm all very good initial impression. I wish it wasn't plastic because it makes it feel cheapy. A metal enclosure would have been ideal. It's nice that it has a display showing status and mode. Hopefully it will be reliable.

Works but unusable for my purpose
Seems to work but so far have not been able to fully test as I ordered a bad splitter cable. Would be better with a built-in battery. I did get it to work with 2 sources at the same time: optical and 3.5 mm cable but there was a considerable amount of lag with dialogue coming through my Bose earbuds where it created a horrible echoing effect which is very unpleasant. I will do some more research and testing. It may be that this is just an inherant feature of bluetooth.

So far so good!
Day 1, things are working exactly how I need. For christmas, hubby and I upgraded our vinyl amp and speaker system as well as a new tv. Unfortunately the new tv didn't have any sort of plug insert for any sort of speaker. Luckily the TV had bluetooth comnection. We wanted to connect the TV to our sound system so we can play our vinyls and watch tv through our fancy new speakers. Our TV connects to this little device via Bluetooth and then the device connects to our amp via optical cable. It's perfect!!Bonus we can play our phone music through the same connections.

Bluetooth transmitter
Works great, easy to use. Not sure if my Bluetooth headphones are the culprit or the transmitter, but there is too much latency on my interface (Behringer). Listening to music files on my computer is fine, but playing and singing through the interface is echoing and way late transmitting. Still trying to figure it out.
