Nothing like what you will get or are accustomed to get at stores.Every corner and detail on this piece of furniture has been thought for and designed with quality in mind, every were we look we saw how they did not skimp or cut corners. You can see every penny you paid.The wood is beautiful, this bench is made with real wood, you see nature with all its beauty all on it, if you are accustomed to buying poor quality overpriced furniture were the wood looks all the same you need to understand that the real deal doesn't look like that, it has nature's signature so the wood is all going to look different and with distinctive marks according to what happened in nature during the tree life.My bench has, perfectly sanded knots and scars that adds to its beauty, all from its history unknown to us.But on top of all that, every part of this bench was well engineered, the metal expandable track is thick and heavy duty.Each leaves has a strong heavy duty hook and lash, and are reforce underneath with more metal making their statement about capable of holding 1,500 pounds very much believable.I bought 2 for a family gathering, I didn't want to have to worry about having to storage a bunch of chairs for a once a year gathering. So I got 2 of this benches, and I'm placing one next to the back door where in winter we need to stand and take off or put on our boots, and the other bench is nicely tuck under the expandable table.The delivery was very efficient for us, they call first to schedule a delivery date, then the previous date we got another call to confirm and remind us, and 5 minutes before arrival we got a call to let us know they were a few minutes away. No waiting all day for ups, fedex and guessing when they will arrive.No assembling needed, just open the box take off all the packaging and pull it out, just like in the video.It is VERY heavy. Expanded or close this bench is super sturdy and strong.I appreciate having companies like this one, with high quality products. I can see this bench still being around many years from now, for future generations in my family to enjoy.
