I am new to this hobby and I was looking for a durable metal detector to use on the beach's. I first ordered a different brand on Amazon, and when I received the other brand I was not impressed. It was cheap and plasticy, and did not extend far enough for me. I returned the detector and decided to try the Greenrex Rex8 metal detector . When I received the Rex8 and assembled it, I was immediately impressed. What a difference, and it was less expensive than the other brand I tried.Greenrex Rex8 metal detector is a high quality metal detector at a great price. Not made of cheap plastic material like some similar brands. Easy to use, display is simple with all the functionality and settings needed. No complicated controls. I love the grip and the backlight on the display. Very comfortable when using, and the detection is accurate. Would highly recommend this detector.

This is a high-performance and easy-to-use metal detector. The large coil design makes each search much more efficient. It is not only fast but also stable, with a much lower false alarm rate. The waterproof detection head allows me to freely detect at the lakeside and shallow water,which adds more fun. The display screen is large and the information is comprehensive.It is a good device with both performance and cost-effectiveness.

This detector is so impressive, the high quality materials it's made of resemble much more expensive models, the fit and finish is top notch, the manual is detailed and easy to understand, it came well packaged in a heavy duty box with bubble wrap protecting the electronic unit, it's so lightweight, and has features like pin point accuracy found in much more expensive models, and the 2 year warranty (if you register it quickly) is awesome, just buy this one and save some money and be highly satisfied!

Greetings all I’ve had my Rex a couple weeks now already have found an old train lock a nickel from 1905 and some other cool stuff first - it doesn’t get any easier to use has a very quick recovery time and does a great job even in frozen mineralized soil compared side by side to the bounty hunter tracker 4 the learning curve is non existent with the small manual as a guide it was relatively easy to get coin shooting I love my Rex and will be buying another soon,thanks for a great product

Works pretty good. Lost my ring in the lake and it actually helped me found it.
