Starting Out with Python Plus MyLab Programming with Pearson eText -- Access Card Package

I brought the book new as I really like the author and his writing style. However, the book came with a hole punched in the back of it, the damage goes through about 30 pages in the book.

I am loving this textbook. His words in the text are well-chosen and important. His descriptions and examples are straightforward. Readers who use this text from front to back, following in order, and completing the exercises, should be in good shape!

This full sized textbook was folded almost in half and shoved into a typical letter sized mailbox. The book is new, but that doesn’t change the fact it doesn’t lay flat on the table.Don’t buy softcover textbooks from Amazon if you have a regular sized mailbox. Extremely disappointed that my brand new book is damaged.

There are much better books for far less money. The required lab is stupid.

I have ordered for a New item with the Pearson eText and I have received an old one with the code scratched off already. Anyway I have tried to use that code online and the website MyProgrammingLab displayed a message that the code was previously redeemed. However the customer service person was very nice and helped me through the replacement process.

Book came plastic wrapped with no damage. All material advertised was present.

Lab access already used, Amazon says contact Pearson, having problems getting paid-for access from Pearson

MyProgrammingLab is not worth it. Do not buy it for extra study. It doesn't have much contents on it. Not so helping!
