The part works just as expected allowing me to attach an external monitor to my gimbal. This has helped me setup the external monitor and a dummy battery for my camera for greater battery life, so it has helped my setup!

Strong, Robust, Modular, Great For Accessories
These things are great for adding accessories to your Ronin S! At first I thought they may be flimsy in such a small fitting but no, they’re strong & robust! Can handle a good amount of weight are have plenty of mounting points. A must have for an Ronin S user wanting to add accessories. Duo pack is recommended!

Quite big and bulky when paired with the Ronin SC. Only just fits above the battery release lever.

Version 2 should be excellent
The concept is excellent, a fail safe NATO mount that means the magic arm won't drop out of the place if it loosens or fails. Unfortunately to use the plate to mount an external monitor, the dimensions of the plate and mounting holes need some tweaking. As the majority of cameras have their hdmi out on the left of the camera it makes sense to mount the monitor on the left of the ronin to stop the cable interfering with the movement of the ronin. However if the plate is attached directly to the ronin it blocks the battery locking lever. I also have the dji cheese plate but unless I buy longer M4 screws it's not possible to mount the smallrig plate on the cheese plate. The flush M4 holes on the cheese plate are closer together than the holes on the smallrig plate. The recessed holes on thw cheese plate require longer M4 screws.

Smallrig ha tutta un'altra qualità rispetto ad altri brands che fabbricano cose simili. Forse il prezzo a volte un po' sopra la media ma si sa, la qualità si paga. Consigliatissimo.

Perfecto para el Ronin SC
Lo compré para poder acoplar el Wooden Handle izquierdo (Ref: 2118, de SmallRig) y se complementan perfectamente. No hay holguras a pesar de usarlo casi a diario. Llego bien empaquetado y como siempre a tiempo. Lo he usado también para acoplar un monitor de 7' y sin problemas. Ha sido una pequeña gran inversión!
