The bone saddle was a significant upgrade over the abs plastic saddle that came with the guitar. It sounds much deeper and richer and the tone sustains for much longer.I have not used the nut yet because it will require some reshaping. It curves upwards in the middle which means that the action on D and G strings will be unacceptably high even if both the Es are perfect. This nut would fit an Epiphone/Gibson perfectly. The seller should provide the option to pick the type of nut required.

The nut and saddle are indeed made out of a bone. Not sure of the density but it is harder than plastic so expect better tone. At first sight it appeared like they were crafted by someone in a hurry.The nut slots were already messed up. Low E and high E slots were the same size in the piece i received. The A string slot was deeper than low E. other slots were OK.Also the saddle should be compensated only at the top not for more than half the length or it wouldn't fit snug in the bridge slot. The saddle was only 3mm thick at the very bottom and becomes thin even before halfway to the top. Making more than half of the saddle thinner when compensating the top is not a good move and is a sign of an amateur craftsman.

A very decent bridge saddle. Note that you'll have to sand it down from the bottom (not the top) to adjust the action as it purposefully is a little bit higher than a stock bridge so that everyone can sand it down to their liking of action. Other than that, the bone is very nice and trust me when I say, it'll affect your guitar tone IN A GOOD WAY. Didn't change the nut as I didn't had the need to do it. The nut might be a little bit difficult to attach on the guitar so it might be safe to replace it by the hands of a luthier.

Instrument is like a soul for a Musicians, if you don't have any idea of guitar, I suggest you, not to deal with the guitar related accessories. The nut you are making, you guys have no idea, where strings lie on and how. Unprofessional act of foolishness I say. Please research, learn and sell music related accessories. One small mistake can ruin the whole melody of music.
