Matthew's Fabrication Adjustable Kydex Cheek Rest Riser .125" - Premium Cheek Rest

I got this for a Savage rifle that came with a crap stock. I was going to order a new Boyd's stock, but the people at Boyd's blew off my questions, so I bought this. They were just too important to talk to me, so I didn't want to bother them by sending them my money.This product gave me a solid, adjustable cheek weld. The hardest part is drilling the holes.

Outstanding cheek riser / cheek pad. The thickness and quality of the kydex is top notch - no flexing of the rest once it’s installed. Very firm when tightened down with the bolts.The slots are perfectly cut and the slight offset is exactly what is required for the typical sporting or hunting stock.My model (“Sniper” model) went on a Tikka T3x. I’m no sniper but it fit perfectly.Installation instructions are found on the manufacturer website and are not included in the box or bag the cheek rest is shipped in. Only a link to the website is included. Directions are a one page PDF you can read from your phone or electronic device. However, the installation instructions are very similar to competitor versions of the same product in my experience.Bolts tighten down snugly and have a plastic type thread locker to keep them secure.You will most likely need to cut the bolts a bit with a dremel once you have everything adjusted to ensure they don’t snag or drag. Easily done.Highly recommend this cheek pad / cheek rest.I will be getting another one in a larger size for another rifle. Price is very competitive and overall it is a really good deal. I would not pay double for the bigger name or high end versions - this one is very tough and durable and you won’t regret it if you get the right size.

Exactly what I was looking for to match the relatively tall M1A scope plane. Bonus- this riser easily retracts if you want to switch to irons. A thoughtful install to the factory synthetic stock took about 10 minutes. SO much better than the strapped-on velcro cheek weld things.

Simple and easy. The last little touch needed to make my tack driver perfect. It’s installed on a CZ 455 22 magnum with a walnut stock.Amateur Tip: once you get it where you want it on the stock tape the hell out of it and make sure it is not going anywhere. Your going to be using a punch and a drill and those often make things move that you don’t want to. I will definitely not hesitate to buy one of these for any rifle I desire in the future. I have had stretchy neoprene sleeves on multiple rifles and never really like the result I got. The only downside it you are going to have to modify your stock permanently and to be honest it is totally worth it. Enjoy ✌️👍🏻

I purchased this adjutstable cheek riser for my Ruger 10/22 since I have a scope on it and I was having an extremely difficult time finding a comfortable cheekweld. The cheek rest from Matthew's Fabrication solved that problem COMPLETELY. No longer do you have to contend yourself to a fixed-point cheek rest (such as those sold by Ruger for certain stocks that you have to swap out); the adjustable cheek rise affords a rather large range of height. Installation instruction was best conveyed in the YouTube video and was very easy to follow. I have it installed already and took about 15 minutes. The cheekweld is VERY comfortable and the kydex was very smooth around the edges. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I just installed the Bear Paw Right - Black Oxide Bolts version of this product on my Ruger 10/22 carbine factory synthetic stock. It was easy to install (as long as you're ready to drill some holes) and easy to adjust. When fully tightened, the riser is surprisingly solid for how thin it looks. It feels like my cheek is welded to the stock itself.I haven't yet cut down the bolts or tested this out on the range, but I can tell you now the fit & feel is right.

I mounted this on a CZ 455 with a Boyd's stock. The existing stock was didn't allow my eye to be directly behind the scope with a good cheek/stock weld. This riser eliminated the problem.You should make sure to not place the riser too close to the receiver. I recommend spotting it where you think it should go, and then removing the bolt to check for clearance. This will help a lot.If you install it properly you'll find it very useful.

Great communication and excellent customer service.I received the riser today. It’s perfect. A piece of art almost. Tight tolerances and very clean looking. I couldn’t be happier. Did not know if it would fit my savage. Emailed the owner and found out there was two types of rests. He asked me the right questions and ordered the right cheek rest for me. Great to work with. The rest if solid and easy to adjust.

Great product fit my cz455 like a glove had no sharp edges nothing customer service was great he had it shipped with in 24 hours and that’s impressive considering they are custom made to order

I just finished installing my cheekrest. Fits my savage 110 270win perfectly. Very easy install. Seems like quality parts. Looking forward to trying it out at the range.
