This is great resource for you
Arduino boards are used when it comes to building digital devices and other interactive objects that have the ability to control things in the physical world around you and this book will teach you the best practices to learn and execute Arduino programming. The ultimate beginner's guide to learn Arduino; Tips and tricks to learn Arduino quickly and efficiently;Simple and effective strategies to learn Arduino Programming; Best Practices to learn and execute Arduino Programming; Advanced strategies to learn and execute Arduino Programming. The following chapters discuss what you need to understand Arduino and everything that has to go with it. I have already read the first and third books of this bundle but though i have found this bundle an interesting purchase. The author provided an ultimate step by step detail understanding of the Arduino board hardware and software as well as different tips and tricks with some powerful kickass strategies to bring out the best out put using the board. Thanks author for creating us a new book for all of us.

I like it
I've recently got interested in Arduino platform, so I've purchased the hardware and got some manuals including this one to help me master using it faster. and so far it has been an exciting journey! I keep trying new little project every day, and this manual helped me so much in assembling and testing these first project.

Good beginning, if you have limited experience it is a necessity.
Having limited experience, it provided the basics that I learned quickly. It was a quick - up to speed tool for me. I believe much can be learned from this resource. Also, I keep it handy, as I move on to more difficult subjects and the programming thereof. As in anything, the work through the examples (and the given challenges) that you spend time with will determine the benefits that may be obtained. Nothing mind blowing there. Good luck and happy computing.joe 3.

Junk! Not for beginers
I bought an Arduino robot car kit for my seventh grade grandson who will be starting some robotics classes in the spring. I am reasonably competent with computers but have no background in coding and I thought this book would be helpful for both of us to get started. I couldn't have been more wrong.the authors writing is obtuse to say the least and and the subject matter covered was not worthwhile. For example I didn't need chapters on how to build an Arduino board out of components, as a newbie I will buy one ready to go. (very reasonably priced on amazon ). What I wanted is information on how to use it and program it. If I bought a new appliance I want to know how to operate it not how to build it. If you are new to Arduino and robotics burn your money before you buy this book.

Prescribed!
Arduino is an open-source platform that helps people to develop electronic projects. Nowadays, the level of popularity of Arduino has spread with many people wanting to build something. The Arduino platform consists of a programmable board that has inputs and outputs to allow your environmental project to function. If you want to know how to build electronic components driven by a microcontroller, this book is right for you. I'm satisfied with this book. Prescribed!

barely useable
Most of code illistrations aren't legible. Worst printing for a book I've ever seen. Might be good if you could use it.

Poor illustrations
Pictures used in this book are way too small and very poor contrast making them hard to view. The grammar is very poor and instructions hard to follow. The author tends to not follow any logical path in his instruction. Very disappointed in this publication and will try to find another one that better explains the information I am seeking. If pictures and diagrams were in color they might be usable. Some good information but book has not been laid out to be a usable guide for beginners.

Poor quality illustrations
The book is full of grammatical errors and the quality of the illustrations is abysmal. I returned the book and bought Arduino for Dummies, which is far superior.

Missing information
The information starting at section 525 is quite vague and is certainly not a "step-by-step". The schematic looks like there should be one LED in one resistor yet the instructions say "Install two LEDs, and a green LED to the breadboard." The "Step By Step" for the application code is missing. What code is in the picture is poorly commented and hard to read and if you try to run it it will fail.

A good starter guide
A pretty detailed starter guide for anyone willing to master the basics of Arduino.

Dissapointing
This is not a well structured book. Just listing things like an H bridge is not helpful. I know what an H bridge is and how to construct one but to many people it would not mean a thing. The graphics are also very poor. I would not recommend this book.

Arduino for starters.
The book by John Baichtal of the same title, for me, is far superior. Also Arduino for Dummies is more helpful.I am a complete amateur.
