No leaks after months and 1000+ miles
I was a bit hesitant to get an aftermarket valve cover gasket for my z4, but decided to go for it based on other reviews and lack of availability of the OEM part at that moment. The part installed w/o too much difficulty... i.e. it stayed put in the valve cover while I lowered the part into place... I WAS worried about that!! Material feels good, but only time will tell on that. Car already has close to 140k miles and I'm thinking if she goes to 250k I'm more than 1/2 way there, sooooo

Product is great - don’t buy it
Hoping you read this before you buy the gasket. I did the job on my 11 year old X3 with the N52, 167k Miles.Bottom line - if you are at the point where you need to replace this gasket, just buy a whole new valve cover from Amazon. I cracked my OEM cover in several places when torquing down the old bolts (even with a properly set torque wrench). The oem cover is plastic. And after a decade of use, is extremely brittle. The new valve cover was like $130 bucks, it came with the ignition coil gaskets, the valve cover gasket, and the valvecentric gasket (already installed). Most importantly - brand new bolts - preinstalled, IN THE CORRECT LOCATIONS (there are a couple different sizes - if you don’t keep track when removing it is a nightmare.Save yourself time and frustration - the few extra bucks getting a complete cover and kit is well worth it.PS - I also broke the old and brittle vent hose - order yourself one of them too and enjoy taking off the intake manifold. The job that took me several weeks waiting on parts and redoing things can be done in a day with a few beers and a lot of cuss words.

Doesn't Seal well on BMW
I've replaced several gasket seal over the years, mostly using Elring gasket. On this particular repair, V. Reinz arrival was the quickest. However, it was very difficult to seat, even with using daps of sealant I had to be very careful and slow. It's been a couple weeks & I notice a light oil buildup on a action of the valve cover gasket.

Works but needs to watch packaging
Product fit but was so deformed an asc certified mechanic took 1 hour just to set in place. He had to use permeated ( which you should not have to on this type of gasket) and the weight it in place to have it stay. All this so we could put in.

Did not fit 2011 BMW 328i x drive properly.
This didn’t fit quite right. Just a touch too big. Would not fit no matter how hard I tried to stuff it in an inch or more would bubble up and not stay in place. Super frustrating! Had to go buy one from the local Lordco auto parts store for $97.
