This aFe Power Race Down Pipe eliminates the catalytic converter for maximum exhaust flow for the popular 2012 BMW 328i with the N20 turbo motor. In recent dyno testing, this race pipe produced 13hp and 29lbs. x ft. torque and outflowed the factory down pipe by 287%. This system uses a 4" diameter tube and progressively tapers to increase exhaust velocity and usable torque. This high performance race pipe is constructed out of lightweight, TIG-welded 4" stainless steel. Tig-Welded: 100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks. Tapered Design: A unique 4" tapered design is used to increase exhaust velocity and increase usable torque. This means more aggressive throttle response and increased passing power. Factory O2 Sensor locations: This down pipe uses factory ing locations for the O2 sensors.
