The shades fit and look great in our RV. I am very pleased with the product. My only complaint is the installation instructions. I'm pretty good at doing anything with my hands and have put up many shades. One small sticker that said "front side" would have made it so much easier. I put up the brackets and attempted to put the shade on but could not get it to click into place. The shades look identical front and back but they are not. Shade will only snap in one direction. Unfortunately, there was no label indicating the front of the blind and it was not until I opened the second one and it snapped right in place that I realized they only fit one way.The first blind took me 45 minutes to install and by the time I had done the third one I was down to 5 minutes.

I don’t ever write reviews but I was so disappointed especially with these being a lil expensive. On top of waiting forever for these blinds to get delivered (which I understand) but they came with missing parts. I ordered 2 sets and one of them didn’t come with brackets, screws or anything. I noticed when just holding them that the blinds were wanting to go down lob sided. The left side hangs way lower than the right, it won’t stay even. They also came with multiple scratches. I had bought one similar to this from ikea for my livingroom months ago, I should’ve just stuck to the ikea ones again and they were way cheaper too and better quality.:( <—— me

Pros: They look really good, like they were worth more money than I paid for them. They pull up and down pretty easily.Cons: I had a lot of difficulty trying to install these with the brackets. They provide a small sheet of paper with two pictures as their instructions - no words - so it was really hard to understand. I ended up giving up and used three heavy duty command strips (the type with velcro) and the shades have stayed up for a while. These shades only weigh 2 pounds so the command strips should do just fine. Another thing I don't like is that there is a single, cheap-looking, plastic piece that you attache in the middle to pull the shades up and down. It's uncomfortable and makes so that the shades come down unevenly, so I just use both hands on either end of the shades. Last con is that they do let in a decent amount of light even though I got the dark gray color.

Just had a triple casement window installed in my house, leaving me with the need for a shade to span the 64½".. Tried to find them everywhere; Home Depot, Lowes etc. with either no luck, or they were super expensive. Found this bad boy for a reasonable price. Bought it at 64" and it fir line a glove. Install was very easy. I'm very pleased with the way they look and complete the room.

This is the third black-out shade we've tried for our nursery and the third time's a charm -- they're easy to install, are sturdy, move up and down easily with one hand, and actually are black-out. The previous models we've tried (some from Chicology as well) were either flimsy and easy to damage (e.g., the blocking of light is via a paint coat that's easily scratched) or were not actually blocking all that much light.

For the price (I paid $16 in 2018), you cannot beat this product! It was easy to install (However, get your own screws instead of using the soft ones that come with the package).The only tip I'd give is to put a strip of wide tape on the top to cover the gears from dust because if your house is old like mine, it's going to gather some dust. Other than that, I'd buy these shades all day long! It was a pleasure breaking out my ladder, marking some holes to drill with my Rigid brushless drill, and then making my bathroom look 100% better!Merrit

Amazing value! Instructions could have been a bit more clear, but seller website was most helpful. The clean look is fabulous and affords light and privacy. Hit a snag with concrete, but fixed it with special screws. LOVE that they can be installed inside or outside. Would buy again.

This was the easiest shade I have ever installed. I cheated and used command strips because I didn't want to drill holes in my new door but needed a shade to help block out heat. It makes a huge difference. I installed this on my back door/laundry room. The sun shines in the afternoon and puts a tremendous amount of heat on my door and laundry room floor. After installing this, I hardly notice any difference in the temperature. I purchased the 24X48 size so it was light enough to use the command strips. So far, so good.

These blinds are ok. The black out aspects works great. However, these are poor quality compared to Chicology Free-Stop Cordless Roller Shade, Room Darkening Fabric, Thermal, Mountain Chocolate, which I also purchased. These roller shades had metal frames. These cellulose blinds have plastic. Instructions are poor but it won’t take too long to install if you’re handy. If you’re looking for something inexpensive for the guest room these will work. I would return if I could find a wide enough roller blind.

Pro: truly black-out blinds; smooth to operate once installed; looks good.Con: The installation instruction is very difficult to follow (online youtube instructions by Chicology don't help at all).Other tips: this blinds can be trimmed as other reviewers mentioned. I choose to use double sided tape instead of screws, and it works for me so far.

I finally got around to getting my kitchen finished and yesterday I went to hang the blinds. There were no brackets and no end caps, no middle handle or screws. I cannot hang the blind.I am very disappointed and would like the missing parts or a refund. I do not have the original box for return.

Best window coverings ever! So elegant, smartly made, easy to install, to use, easy to take off and put back on later! They isolate from hot weather in the summer and from cold in the winter! They look as new after years of use! I love them, bought 2 times. They are adjustable, I cut one a little when I moved it to another window. I strongly recommend!

No problems with these blinds. They arrived quickly and in good shape. We put them in a media room that we want to black out for theatre effect. The look nice in the daylight from outside and darken the room without looking like black shades. They were easy to install--however we had to use a skill saw to cut them to fit as they are pretty good quality and a sharp knife did not do it! That is a good problem to have, except we had to borrow a saw :)
