Place directly on the wound and cover with appropriate wrapping. This will absorb all fluids from the wound and will soak through the material. Seek medical advice of the proper wrapping to place over the dressing pad.

I don’t know what product have been getting , but the thickness of the pad shouldn’t be an issue ... I k ow the sponge pads are thicker then the gauze type pads
