Seems to work on RaspPi3B with Volumio
Bought this for building a HiFi Berry Pi on a Rp3B+. I had already installed Volumio and just used the internal sound, so knew the software/setup was working ok.Added the DAC card on top, and changed Audio Output in Volumio to HiFiBerry DAC Plus, and it came up without any issues and worked well. That was kind of a guess, as it seems to be a clone of the HiFiBerry DAC+. There are NO instructions at all, not even a web link to get instructions, etc.Sound is WAY better than the internal sound device. No issues have happened so far, so if it lasts, then will be very happy with it. Did not make any other changes to Volumio settings. Using the current sw version as of this date, 3.7.03.Update: Still working great, and I can verify that it also works with Moode without any issues. I am not having any problems with it heat wise, but I do have a fan in the case. One bummer about this DAC is the lack of header pins on top - they cut them off, so you can't connect a fan or access other pins easily. You have to do a breakout, or just so some rigging to attach other pins. Wish they would have left the pins on the top to allow you to add another hat or connect to individual pins. If I buy another DAC, I will choose one that has the header pins on top so I can easily connect fans or access other pins easily, and it would be worth the few dollars extra to have that access.

Great with Raspberry Pi 3 & 4
This is a nice D/A converter for truly hifi analog audio output from your Raspberry Pi via RCA jacks. Raspbian "Buster" makes this easy to install with a single entry to /boot/config.txt to enable the appropriate overlay: dt_overlay=hifiberry-dacplusAdd the raspotify service to your Pi and you've got compatibility with Spotify Connect.

Worked for a while
This unit finally made my HiFi project with a Raspberry Pi work. For a week after the thirty days were up to return the product on Amazon. Then it stopped short never to go again. This product is also available direct from China at less than half the cost on Amazon. If you buy one plan on cooling it because it runs hot.
