Very comfortable and durable. Much better than several other cases I previously tried. I had this case for 10 months, and it developed a crack on the back side housing. I contacted Catalyst after hours on Wednesday, and received a confirmation Thursday morning that a new case is being shipped. They back their product, and know what it means to provide excellent customer service. I'm a big fan.

So I have had this watch band a little over three months it has started cracking where the screw goes in and on the watch loop. Very disappointed with the quality because this band is not cheap.Update: I contacted catalyst and they made it right honoring the warranty and sent me a replacement watch case. Great customer service.

The case cracked across the back after using for about a month. Never crashed while wearing it and never dropped it or slammed it. The crack losened the whole case and it won’t even stay shut. The only thing holding it together now is the small screw used to secure the back to front once it’s all snapped together around the watch body. I use my Apple watch for Running, Mountain Biking, Skiing and Hiking. I was super excited for this thing as the case looks great, fits super tight on the watch body and the band is way more comfortable and secure than the stock Apple watch band. Raised bevel around the face protects from scratches and impacts. The button and digital crown knob work flawlessly. Options for different colored bands make it easy to change the look. Too bad it’s so weak and cheaply made...Better that it broke now because Im pretty sure that my watch would have really taken a hit if I had crashed with this thing. Who knows, maybe it’s an anomaly as the Catalyst products always get good reviews. Try your luck I guess.

I like that it fits like a glove, and that the band I flexible. The only draw backs that I have found is that you can’t tighten the fastener (screw) all the way as the dial won’t work, and if you want to use the irregular heart beat detection that won’t work in the case. Overall it protects the watch from getting beat up as you go about your day to day business.

I ran a Spartan obstacle course race wearing this watch case... 8 miles and 24 obstacles. Mud, water, swimming, plenty of climbing, crawling, and even the rope climb. Ruined my shoes, my shorts, and my shirt - but my watch was fine! This case is well-built and it added the protection I needed to keep my watch from getting beat up during my training and the race. The case worked perfectly, and if you abuse it more than I did during this race, I bet it will still be fine. And my watch functions worked perfectly through the case. No problem with reading heart rate or charging. Spend the money and protect your watch.As others here have noted, the strap is a soft silicone and feels great. It makes the watch bulky, but I am a big guy and it still looks good on my wrist. This is a functional addition to my watch - not a fashion statement!

This watch case is pretty good. Everything wears and tears so expecting something 100% indestructible isn’t realistic. This case protected my Apple Watch from falls and smacks against a concrete wall, extreme workouts, and much more. My watch did break apart while I was hitting the punching bag one day. The Catalyst support team are helpful and fast and my new free cover is on the way! I had the watchband come off mine as well but it did go right back on and didn’t come off again. It’s plastic and rubber it’s going to flex and shrink and stretch a bit. I also informed Catalyst that the EKG did not work with the case on. The heart rate monitor did fine but the EKG where you have to hold to crown for afew seconds just wouldn’t work while the case was on they are working on a solution. All together with all things considered and being realistic people, I would buy this case again for sure.

This case only lasted 8 months. The screw mount that holds the case together is made of cheap plastic and split apart when I was putting the watch on. Won't be buying another one.

these are some great waterproof case however the only flaw they always split where the screw is located and i'm saying this after purchasing two of them
