Used for project
My twin boys did poster boards on a planet they picked. We used hot glue to glue the half circle to the board. It was easily painted to look like the planet and held up well. The sphere wasn't damaged in any way either.

Great For Insulating Can Lights Above Ceiling!
Use these on all my can light installations through attics. Keeps it air tight and prevents bugs from slipping through the gaps from the attic (small attic spiders). Will not work with large can light housings but great for the retro fit kit installations where housings are not needed. Caulk or foam them down to the back of the drywall.

Great product
Used to make a floral ball. The unit was sturdy and able to be manipulated with hot glue. Withstood a day of abuse during a baby photo shoot. Highly recommend.

Depends on what you bought it for
If you are sticking things into it so the actual styro doesn't show, you'll be ok with this. But the description said "smooth". It is not. The texture shows and there are strange bumps molded onto it. Does not look good for my use where I wanted a smooth globe.
