You’re probably not going to fill it that full with normal use.The cups are lovely, and the pot is gorgeous. I’m a big fan of this style of big built in screen all the way around.I honestly cannot recommend this pot enough. I love it.I wish I could buy 2 more cups to match.EDIT: I love this set so much I ended up buying another set to have the 2 extra cups. I'll take the 2nd kyusu in to work in case I want to share tea with a colleague.

For any Japanese Tea lovers this glazed Kyusu is a piece of art. It extracts delicious flavor so I've been using it everyday.

The package looked fine on arrival but after opening one cup was broken and the other chipped. The tea pot itself had very sharp edges on top. The set is very fragile so maybe the bubble wrap should have been inside the package. The color was nice I guess.

Unlike others, I ordered from the US and it came to me perfectly fine, with no chips or anything. Over the past ~1 1/2 years I've gotten a lot of good use out of it, no complaints at all. Thanks!

I’m sure they’d replace it, but I purchased it for display and waited quite a long time for it to arrive, so I kept it.Beautifully stained, seems like good quality stuff. Very small chip, I’ll post a picture if these Amazon reviews can be edited.

This is a gift for my college kids. I was looking for some actual Japanese pots on Amazon, but it was hard to find.Actually I wanted to buy a bit larger pots, but it will do for my kids' dorm, I assume.Beautiful color, and very light weight. My kids loves it!

Exactly what I ordered. It is a small teapot enough to serve 1-2 people. The image says on brown, but the teapot is teal on top of a forest green. It is beautiful, though. Filters out even the smallest tea bits and works great for my sencha teas.
