Great product - worth the money
These are my wife's favorite storage containers. She uses them for everything possible. They are sturdy and the clear plastic makes it easy to see what has been stored inside.

Love these storage containers, almost perfect size for 10lb dry ingredients, very durable, & they include the lids!
I purchased the 8qt and 6qt set as well as some larger Cambro storage containers, these 2 sets came with the lids for the containers. On the larger units you have to purchase lids separately. These were a little bigger than I anticipated, but they both still fit in my corner cabinet on the Lazy Susan. I put flour and sugar in them (a little heavy on the Lazy Susan when full!) The 8qt model will fit a 10lbs bag of flour, but you may have to get the flour to settle a little to get it all in. The 6qt model fits a 10lb bag of sugar perfectly (see picture). The lips around the top are wide enough that you do not need a handle, and I have had no problem moving them in and out of my Lazy Susan with just grapping onto the top lip of the containers.I have used Tupperware style containers in the past, and these are much more durable. I haven't dropped a full one on the floor yet to fully test, but they have held up great to the mild abuse they have endured.

Super functional
These containers are essential in my commercial kitchen. We have about a million of them and theyre a perfect size to store our prepped ingredients. If you cook in large quantities you'll find endless use for them. Not waterproof!

Using to store flour
I purchased these food storage containers for another purpose originally. We had opportunities in the past at work to cook and bring in food for celebrations or contests which would generate money for different purposes but I live a good distance from work. I was going to use these to bring food in safely then transfer into a crock pot to keep warm. COVID definitely changed those plans as we are not allowed to have gatherings like this for right now so during the early stages of the pandemic foods were hard to find and going out was not really an option so we decided to bake pizzas, bread and anything else we could. I found that storing flour in these is a great option. I have one filled up to the top with flour. I would guess it takes 2 and a half bags of flour or about 12 pounds. I love using this for storage as it is food safe and I would rather have the flour stored in here than in the bags from the store. They are very big but great for storing items in bulk. Would also be a great option for rice, beans, or any other item you buy in bulk. I have also used for storing soups, chili and proofing dough. I will be buying more.

Serious Home Cooks Need These
I cook a lot at home, and make a lot of stocks, soups and stews at a time which I freeze. These are the best quality by far, and its why you'll see them in professional kitchens. They do cost more than the average stuff you find at the store, but it's worth the money, as they are extremely durable (the crystal clear plastic may get brittle after a long time), and do an excellent job in keeping things sealed tight, whether in the freezer or refrigerator. They clean up well either by hand or in the dishwasher, and don't stain or leave a scent from the previous food.Further, their square shape is great since it makes the most use of the space. They are also stackable. I like the 2 quart size as I find them the most useful for what I do.Update: If freezing liquid, be sure not to fill the containers absolutely up to the top. Leave some room for the liquid to expand, otherwise it can pop the lid off.

Works well, but lid is hard to open
I wanted these for years before pulling the trigger. They're a great size to throw anything into for the fridge, especially rising bread dough and marinading meats. My only complaint would be that the plastic lid is so thick and heavy duty that it can be hard to open the lid. If you have arthritis or joint pain - or simply not a lot of hand strength, you will be frustrated with this container.

Professional High Quality Food Containers
High quality containers. I was sick and tired of using terrible containers like ziplock or no name containers because they were always flimsy and you could never find the right tops for them. I knew of Cambro's from work as I work in a restaurant. I have seen how the kitchen staff treat them and from experience I know they can take a beating. I have seen them melted, cracked, broken but still usable however, thats not to say they don't work well because they do. These thing can and will take a beating. They will also last a long time, especially if you do not abuse them they can last for a very, very long time. The polycarbonate is quite thick and very high quality which brings across its ruggedness. Now the downside to these are the price. They are quite high especially for only a pack of 3 (2 quart variety). This to me is more of an investment because I believe they do eventually pay themselves off from the lack of buying other food storage containers over and over again. They are also quite large, if you do not have a good place to store them they may not be for you even though they do stack. So if your sick of terrible food containers like I was get what the professional kitchens use and buy these.

The best storage container
Translucent so you can see the contents.Square lid so it fits any way you put it on.NOT polycarbonate, the material is flexible which means you can thump it down on your counter without risking damage to counter or container.I hope they keep making this.
