Towel is a good quality cotton. Washes and dries great. Seems to be very absorbent. Towel could be just a couple of inches wider to make them perfect.

I bought these towels to line the bottom of a hamster cage that my lovebird lives in. Her feet are paralyzed, been like this for 5 years now. I lay the towel over a little blanket and it helps to give her a softer surface to "walk" on. She walks on the "elbow" of her legs. She is a happy bird, chews her wicker balls, and gets to fly around the room at night.But these towels are nice and thick compared to the other towels I had bought for her, advertised as flour sack towels. They have the little loop to hang on a hook, but I cut that off. Not taking any chances that she could get hung up in the loop. I did put 2 of them aside for kitchen use, lol.Nicely made and good quality. Wash well, come out white and not wrinkled at all. Happy with my purchase and highly recommend them.

I use my kitchen towels as much as possible in place of paper towels. Consequently, I wash my kitchen towels frequently. These Talvania white kitchen towels are a nice weight of cotton twill, cry dishes, hands and countertops well, and look good the whole time.I am very pleased with this purchase and encourage others to give this product a try. IMO, 12 kitchen towels for about $1.60 each is a low-cost alternative to paper towels! These towels are fairly substantial and a good weight considering they are inexpensive. They do shrink when washed if that is important to you. After washing shrank to about 14 1/2" x 22 1/2" (vs. 15" X 25") so substantial shrinkage on length.

I use these as napkins and actually get compliments from guests, lol. Very durable, well made, wash easily, and look great on a casual dinner table and for those casual entertainment events.I may gift them to my daughters, or as part of a gift basket...but not as a lone gift (but that could just be my taste).

These look nice and come in a nice display with a fabric ribbon around them, so would make a nice shower gift or casual house gift, especially if someone has remodeled their kitchen. Unfortunately, they aren't as good as the last towels I purchased like this from Amazon, which are no longer offered (restaurant towels, are you listening Amazon?). These are stiffer, less absorbent and so wrinkly when they come out of the dryer they are not as good to work with.

These are sturdy kitchen towels that wash well with little shrinkage. Great for drying dishes and pans or under hot plates when needed. This is my 2nd order as I rotate out old ones to use to clean up my truck, etc.
