Danke schön !I have had Oxprovo ECG monitor for only a couple of days. The portable EKG reader is very easy to use, looks like a mini mobile phone. The screen shows your heart rate and the trace for an EKG so you can see any bumps while recording, That being said I am pleased with its operation so far. I was just diagnosed these days with atrial fib and this give me the comfort to match my symptoms with weather and that I am truly in a fib. So far I haven’t had symptoms since getting the monitor, however I’m in endurance athlete and will use it to check to see if I’m in a fib before starting exercise.I tried it on me and multiple people and I think it is valuable für anyone who has issues with der heart, it helps you monitor your heart whenever you feel something might not be alright The device is compact, easy to carry, and takes a charge well. This all makes it easy for me to take it with me to work, have in my pocket on a run or when cycling , Making it ideal for my situation.

This thing seems to work at first. Connected with pc the 1st time, now goes into charging mode and pc doesn't see it. I have had AFIB for 30 plus years, bought this after 2nd surgery. I know what my waves look like when the rare ones hit. This didn't see it, only told me of tachycardia. Sad, really was hoping to us this as a middle option to actually going to ER before I was in AFIB to long. Software was a true disappointment and collected info to send to mfgr

My sister is physician now over 15 years and she likes the idea of having a cardio monitor in my home(cos I 've had arrhythmia for 3 months) , small and comportable to carry it in my pocket.She helped me to purchase Oxprovo EKG monitor. The device gives good quality tracings, particularly with Chest lead for me (held close to the heart. I noted the default recording is set to 10 seconds, my sister thought it’s to short to monitor for an arrhythmia. Fortunately you can change the recording time through the software on a PC to 30 seconds, I think that’s enough for me , of course that’s the maximum recording time.This device has Bluetooth on board , there was an app for ISO(iPhone),named ”min ECG” in iPhone App store, so I could scan and download to my smartphone and see scans immediately through Bluetooth . Even mac OS 10.12 or higher (Apple PC) to “Portable ECG Monitor”.Heart rate/pulse rate readings are basically correct and they are usually within reasonable tolerances. Having said that , I still believe it is a handy, worthwhile tool because it does record an ecg wave that can be later reviewed by my sister. Btw, Recommends clean and dry skin and clean contacts on the device, but I find it easier to use with a thin coating of fetal doppler gel , cardio cream /gel or even clear hair gel on the contacts.A good guide,computer software program works well and is fairly intuitive.Personally, I think it’s good idea to have this EKG monitor in my first aid kit.

I ordered this from Amazon. I am a registered nurse and familiar with all kinds of medical equipment. The first one I recieved would turn on for 2 seconds then shut off. I could not get it to stay on. I called Amazon tomarrange to return the first one and asked them to make sure the next one had a good battery. I “suspect” they sit on a shelf somewhere and battery runs down. Amazon assured me they would check with the seller to make sure the new one had a good battery. Well, the new one has the same problem. Beware!

I use this when my or my son's heart feels funny and it will show the arrhythmia, missed beat, etc. You can also print the pattern off to show your MD.
