This was a Christmas gift for my middle son (8 1/2 years old) who LOVES cars. The pack is expensive, no way around that, but he has enjoyed playing with these cars so much. I have not HAD to help with with any part of these toys, though I have played with them simply because they are fun!I was really nervous about tiny parts being lost or broken, but I have found this toy design was very well thought out. The pieces that are meant to come off come apart very easily; the parts that are meant to stay together are very difficult to get apart (you really have to use some muscle to undo - or redo - something that wasn't meant to come off to begin with). My kids have had no trouble with getting anything on or off as long as it was meant to be removed!My nephews were over the other day and started playing with these cars. They were not mindful of the idea that if it doesn't come off easily, then it shouldn't come off, and they forced one of the chairs off the body of one of the cars. Now I cannot get the chair to stay back on with the screw (I think they must have stripped the hole when they forced the chair off) This will be easily fixed with a little super glue which I don't mind, since I don't think it was supposed to come off anyway!The screws that hold all the pieces on each have a very small, very tight, washer on the back that prevents the screw from coming all the way off the piece to help prevent the screw from being lost. Again, one of my nephews forced one of the washers off and spent 45 minutes trying to find it (which they eventually did). The washer went right back on and I haven't had any issue with in since then.My son left one of the thin body pieces out and stepped on it, breaking one side of it, though again, its nothing a dot of superglue won't fix! Again, this is an issue with the child, not the toy itself. As long as the pieces are put away in a box and no one tries to force anything, you shouldn't have any trouble with this, we certainly haven't.

These cars are wonderful!! I have an autistic grandson who thinks they are the greatest toy he has ever had. He enjoys using all the interchangeable body parts in a mix and match combination, but at the end of playtime they all have to go back to the way they came from the box.Very well made and well thought out toys. No loose screws are very helpful.Kiddo played a little too hard with his cars, but Dorene in customer service was very gracious in getting us the parts to fix them.When he sleeps with his favorite car, you know this was a successful present!

This is the second time I am purchasing Modarri (cars, case, and track) as a gift. The product is amazing and the seller sent the merchandise so quickly that I thought it had come via Amazon now.The cars are not your ordinary cars; they are interchangeable and kids are very interested in configuring them in different ways. I was so pleased with it and one of my friends, who is an engineering professor, found the cars to be exceptional STEM toys. Do not hesitate to order them. Any child to get these cars will be thrilled.

These cars are great fun for both kids and adults. It is incredibly satisfying to drive one around because of how easy they actually steer. We bought these as a Christmas gift for our toddlers, against the manufacturers recommendation. What we found was that even at 3 years old, our son (under our supervision) was able to use the screwdriver and interchange the car parts. We simply kept the screwdriver out of reach the rest of the time. I only rated them 4 stars because even though our children are younger than the recommended age, there are parts on the cars that seem to break fairly easily. Most of our cars have a crack in at least one place and they were put there by older cousins who are within the manufactured recommended age. The broken parts do not interfere with how the cars move but they do slightly change how the cars look, one example is the windshield of all three of our cars has broken off, and a couple of the plastic frame pieces have cracks. They base frame is metal but the interchangeable frame pieces are plastic, these are the pieces that crack. It is quite possible that all of the cracks came from crashing the cars into each other or other things, but what kid doesn't crash cars. That being said, I would definitely buy these cars again for the pure fun of steering them around with one finger.

Very overpriced for the quality. The way the front suspension is made they do not roll properly. The wheels try to fold under the car when “turning”. Definitely not worth $60. Hopefully I just received a defective box but they are definitely junk. Returning them as they are not the quality advertised.

My grandson is delighted with this set. He started playing with it immediately, and made many different combinations of cars. We knew they'd be good quality, as he's received others as gifts, in the past. He still enjoys playing with them; taking things apart and having various options to put them together again is great fun for him. I'm glad that I made this purchase.

Bought the three pack for our 5 year old son and it was an instant hit! After showing him how to use the tool to unscrew layers of car styles, he was hooked. Then my 7 year old asked for some on his next birthday as well. I thought they were pricey but now I see why- compared to hot wheels, matchbox, lego cars, etc., these have high quality steering mechanisms with springs and real rubber tires. My boys learned they could easily steer it with one finger in the seat hole. It’s been 11 days since he got these and has played with them each day so far.

Really nice toy. The quality is exceptional, my kids love them both as cars and to take them apart and put them back together again. I give the car 5 stars because it's an outstanding product but keep in mind it is still possible to cross thread the screws even though the hardware is very good.

My son loves this product, he originally received them as a birthday gift but he lost some pieces and so I bought this set and he plays with them daily.
