My 3rd grader has very much enjoyed this book. There is lots of information without being dry and overwhelming. It would have been too much for him last year and he is an advanced reader, so I don't think it would be good for most kids under 8.

I highly recommend this book for kids 5-9.

It's beautiful. I'm sure it's over priced, but it is one special gift for a granddaughter.

Wonderful book. It’s chock full of wonderful information. We’ve been using it to augment our science curriculum. It’s a very lovely book. I’m surprised at how in depth some of the information is. I was not expecting as much from a children’s book.

This is the perfect book! I wish I had found this when my son was younger. I purchased this book for a boy from a low income family whom I chose from our clinic tree ornament program. It is absolutely beautiful and filled with easy to read Kama inspiring descriptions of our beautiful planets and other celestial phenomena.

My granddaughter got a telescope for her birthday and loved the book as she learns about the stars.

This book informs on many levels, and stirs curiosity, wonder & awe. Great for children and us big kids, too. I recommend it to all my astronomy/astrology-loving friends.

I had a book identical to this almost 20 years ago. And when i found out my neice was into it I jumped at the chance to share with her all the joys I had growing up. Very educational and gets kids involved with a "101" for everything involving the night skyWould strongly recommend
