This cable does what it is intended to do, but the nice thing is it does it well. Most products like this will get the job done but it is always a situation where the user has to turn the "jack" around inside the "female" end in order to make a connection, (such as when you turn this type of splitter and you hear large amounts of crackling and snapping sounds as contact is made and broken until you find a spot that will maintain the connection for the time being.) The Ugreen Premium 3.5mm female to RCA Male is a very well made item that when the user connects the cable to the Ugreen there is no need for manipulation of any kind, it makes a positive connection and that is what it is supposed to do. Thanks Ugreen for a good product among a sea of cheap parts by other manufacturers. I will purchase any cables or splitters from you folks again in the very near future.

My TV and Blu-ray player are the same age and brand (Samsung), but the adapter does not work for the TV. I did some troubleshooting and it appears that my TV is the culprit. Next time I buy a TV , I will check all the connections. The headphones I connected to the Blu-ray worked well and audio was clear- no static.This connector looks sturdy and well made, but only time will tell.

Works great

This is exactly what I needed to have my old home stereo tuner accept bluetooth connectivity. I bought a BT adapter that had a male 3.5mm cable but needed to somehow connect it to the RCA inputs of the tuner. So I plugged the BT into this female 3.5mm cable and then connected to the RCA inputs into the stereo tuner. Woohoo, score! I now can stream Spotify, TuneIn, etc. from my phone to the home stereo tuner/speakers. I can even control the volume with my phone. Love it!!! BTW, before getting this cable, I went to BestBuy to buy this type of cable and they didn't carry it in-store. For the price, quick delivery, and quality you should buy this and not waste your time driving to a brick and mortar store.

I bought this 3.5mm to 2 rca male cable to listen to my TV at night from my wired head phones. My TV doesn't have a head phone jack or any RCA out connections so I used this through the Dish Network cable box RCA out connection, and it works as expected. The only problem is not being able to control the volume level.The cable in the picture is gray but the cable I received is black. It's not a big issue. That's why I gave material quality 4 stars. Other than that it works fine thus far for the few weeks I have had it.

PERRRRFECT! Downsized our audio system and donated the 30-year old tuner/amplifier and humongous vintage floor speakers. Kept our standard size 5-disc cd player and hooked it up to quality powered computer speakers. Super great sound quality using this cable. I'm picky about audio quality (that's why we still had our vintage sound system!). But, alas, the old system was aging and taking up waaay too much space. I first used a coupler so I could use an 18 inch y-adapter with RCA males and male 3.5 mini cable that I already had. Speaker cable input is also 3.5 male. Thought a double female 3.5 coupler would suffice. Well, it was fine. Just not great. Found this cable on Amazon and decided it was worth a try. Well, maybe the shorter 8 inch length is the reason for improvement or maybe it's removing the now unnecessary coupler. Maybe it's a combination of the two. Maybe it's the cable itself. Whatever! It's sounding almost as good as the vintage system when it was new. And with this setup, I can listen to all of my now- outdated cds, along with streaming music from my smartphone and listening to the music already stored on my mp3 player.
