Working for the government......The powers that be decided after years and years (I'd say clear back to 1883 when our hospital was founded) of employees happily making coffee with the various coffee makers of mere mortals (like Mr. Coffee himself), that it was far too dangerous for licensed medical professionals to operate advanced home coffee-making machinery in the break room unless it was officially sanctioned by the safety committee, security, administration, and probably as a state institution, an act of legislature. Not that they had any intention of providing the officially sanctioned professional grade machines. So I purchased this miracle a month ago and once again, the patients on my floor are being cared for by professionals who have had their daily dose of fuel, available whenever they need it thanks to the double-warmer model Bunn I purchased. It brews fast enough for a nurse's break, which really in no break at all, delicious ambrosia of the gods!

I replaced three appliances on my counter with this Bunn. I have an electric kettle, coffee maker, and tea maker that have been retired. I did buy a different funnel for tea so it doesn't pick up the coffee taste. I use one carafe for coffee, the other (with the second funnel) for tea or hot water.The only gripe I have is that as the water in the storage area is kept hot, steam condenses on the water fill door on top of the unit. When you open it to add water and start the brewing process, the condensate drips on top of the unit through the hinge opening. I keep a paper towel near by to clean the drips.

Best drip coffee maker on the market. Brews in 3-4 min which drastically reduces the bitter flavor that comes from a standard drip coffee maker that usually takes 10-15 min. Ordered this for a work environment that runs on coffee and life's to short to drink bad coffee. I'll update this review after I see how well it stands up to the abuse of the "indelicate animals" I work with.

It works as described. ONE NOTE.... it would be nice if there was an auto-shutoff. We use this on the workplace, so it was left on overnight and the coffee pot dried up and we were greeted to the smell of burning coffee the next day and a ruined pot that was stained and we could not clean and had to throw out. Surely this is a safety hazard and could've exploded the pot and even worse a fire.

I ordered this Bunn coffee maker for at home even though it is a commercial grade unit because I got tired of all the other ones I've had breaking within a few months. Everything on this coffee maker is quality, even copper plumbing. You never need another one ever again, every part is able to be repaired or replaced and cleaning it is super easy. I would buy one again even though I will probably never need another one.

My mother bought this coffee maker back in 2002, and she is still using it this very day. I have been buying a coffee maker about every 2 years at a $120.00 a pop. I am tired of throwing MONEY AWAY! Also this coffee maker will brew a pot of HOT and DELICIOUS COFFEE in 2 minutes, and drastically reduces the bitter flavor that comes from a standard drip coffee maker that usually takes 10-15 minutes. The only downside is my wife and I drink MORE COFFEE. So don't think, BUY IT! It blows all other makers away. NO CHEAP GARBAGE HERE!

Coffee maker arrived as promised and in good condition. The tape on the bottom of the outside carton had come off posing the potential for the device to fall out. The coffee maker was set up with no issues and is currently working well delivering several pots of coffee per day. One thing to watch for is when the unit is used with hard or heavily mineral water supplies. Deposits build up quite rapidly so the unit should be cleaned using the clean out spring quite often. I do like the longer clean out spring since it allows cleaning all the way into the reservoir.

We followed the instructions that this machine came with but the water would drip from all the places on the machine that were supposed to be sealed or where two different materials met. We work in an office and this machine was not set up for a few weeks. By the time we realized it was broken the 30 days had gone by and the 3rd party store would not cooperate with us. Amazon also wasnt of much help in getting this handled. Finally had to use the warranty with BUNN to get them to replace the machine. Still waiting for that to go through... So far this has been a waste of time.
