Could have a higher quality tube for the price.
Though it still does what it was intended to do I feel like the intake tube could be a lightweight metal instead of plastic. It's very solid and the rest of the parts are high quality. The only complaint is the grommet that you install into the tube which took me longer to put in than most of the install. With a little dish soap and a flathead screw driver and a hand that barely fit into the tube I managed to get it in. Install was super easy, be sure to use the slightly larger hose clamp for the hanger bracket and not the rubber hosing.

Step 15
The provided tube came dirty inside and step 15 where they ask you to install the 90 degree plastic piece for the hose does not fit in the gromet you put in the tube in step 14.

Poor Quality Control..only ONE 3.25" ID hose was included
I get all the way to the end of the installation and have to couple the air intake filter to the hose..the instructions say to use one of the two included 3.25" ID hoses to couple but there isn't one...had to order a replacement hose from Amazon. You would think K&N would inventory their packages before shipping guess someone dropped the ball.

It fit perfectly on my 2004 350z, no problem installing or anything.

Great product after getting installed
For starters, the instructions were very confusing and unclear. I was also missing an important part of the kit, which was one of the hoses. Thankfully I was able to source a clamp hose from O’Reillys, and was able to eventually get it installed. I am no mechanic, but I am confident in saying I’m somewhat mechanically inclined and yet this product took way too long for me to install because of the missing pieces and unclear instructions. After my struggles tho, the product did exactly as advertised and has felt amazing so far.

Read and follow instructions
It was a real pain to install this thing. After three hours I succeeded. Besides that, it should perform good. I’ve bought several K&N air filters. I hope this one lasts!
