I bought this to surprise my mom for Mother's Day dinner. We started out using this for our appetizer cheese fondue. It kept the cheese a a perfect temperature without burning the cheese to the bottom. The ceramic coating made it a breeze to rinse off the big chunks of food left before running it through the dishwasher.

Terrific set. Just like the sets from the 60's only better. SS frame is well done. Needs more than just for 4 cups for dipping goodies. Had to buy a case of tea candles to keep warm, which work really well & last 5hrs or so. Note that no space for Sterno can. Pity there was no included recipe book for newbies. This was standard gift for wedded couples circa '65. Works really well to keep drawn butter perfectly melted when enjoying crab legs or their lobster cousins claws.
