Knitter's Pride 515374-Dreamz Fixed Circular Needles 40", Size 1/2.25mm

I ordered these to replace a pair of Knitter's Pride bamboo needles in the same size. As soon as I held them, I could tell that these are just slightly smaller than the bamboo needles. The needle gauge confirms this. I hope this doesn't affect the outcome of my project. Packaging Review: The manufacturer's packaging was a piece of cardstock (recyclable) and a clear plastic envelope that was not marked for recycling. I will probably store the needles in the packaging, so recycling is not an immediate concern. An alternative would have been a cellophane bag, which is recyclable. Amazon shipping packaging was a cardboard box with paper tape, and #4 plastic film air pockets that require special handling for recycling.

I've been knitting for over 50 years and am am accomplished knitter. I have every brand of needle at every price point. These are my favorites. I don't worry about them breaking or being lost because they're inexpensive. They are slick without being too slippery to knit with. They are smooth as glass - yarn never hesitates to slide or be manipulated into lace or cables, but stays on the needle until I move it off. I'm so happy to discover these!

I do a lot of lace knitting so I have a good assortment of needles in sizes ranging from US1 to US 16 and these include both the interchangeable and Fixed circular needles in the Knitter's Pride Dreamz category. They have a good taper and are excellent for my purposes. I've been using these for several years now, and to date, the only time I have broken one of these needles, it was due to carelessness on my part rather than the fault of the needles. Since these are made of a very smooth wood, they work well for all yarns, and are especially good when knitting with slippery yarns such as silk and silk blends. I highly recommend them.

Product came broken !this is the 2 nd knitting needle from this company I have received broken the first one I just let it go but I believe it need to be addressed. They have a problem with the wood needles at the joint . I hope this will help in the future

I really like these needles. I only gave them a 4 because the cable is a little more stiff than I like. I will be getting more of these in future because the needles are very smooth and the points are uniform, and they feel nice on my hands.

I absolutely love these wooden needles. I have used bamboo, metal and plastic knitting needles and nothing compares to these wooden ones. They are smooth and silky on the finish, and the points are rounded and not sharp. I will not even use my bamboo ones now that I have wooden ones. The other kind that is comparable is Deborah Norville. Try these polished wood needles and you will probably want to replace everything you already have.
