Stopped The Leak, Saved The Engine
2002 Blazer 4WD, 282K miles. This is the 4th lineset since new. The last two replacements were genuine GM parts, installed by certified technicians. That was big bucks, but a ruined engine would cost much more.I've come to realize that the design of this part is flawed, insuring that the part will be toasted around the same time distributor cap and rotor (also bad design) are done. Typical of GM's policy of planned obsolescence. Don't get me started...A mechanic or stealership wants way too much for this job - much more than I wanted to sink into this tired old chariot. Parts alone could run ya upwards of 95 bucks. Saw this price on Amazon, figured it was worth a try.Old lines were already yanked, and the Dorman part matched the old part perfectly. Threaded the new lines, connected up both ends - done. Total time to install was about 1 hour.I also replaced the radiator connectors at the same time - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The O-Rings inside wear with age, and new connectors are cheap. Why take chances? Don't forget the Teflon tape, and go easy on the torque - snug it about 1/4 -- 1/2 turn past the point where it bottoms and you’ll be fine. Fired up the engine and stressed it quite a bit. No leaks, good oil pressure, done deal.Normally I'd be suspicious of a part that costs a fraction of what the stealership charges. But in this case, go with the lower-priced option. Whether it's Genuine GM or aftermarket, it ain't gonna last that long. But no sense in paying 2X, 3X, or 4X what the job is worth. It's not a tough a job to do yourself. For this price, it's the best option available.

Solid replacement for the OEM that was leaking.
Build quality seemed to be as good if not better than the OEM one I removed. Install was easy and straight forward... took about 15 mins. Might as well do it during an oil change, but be aware... even though you remove the oil filter don't think you have gotten all the oil out (ask me how I found out - lol). Have an oil catch basin ready as you will get about 4-6oz of oil pouring out of the lines.

Fits on 2003 Chevy S10 ZR5 4.3L
Well I just want to note, I would have bought OEM but could not find the part on Amazon =( so had to get what was available to me... I had this installed by a mechanic and apparently it fits and functions well. It's been on the truck for about 4 months and so far no leaks. Heard no complaints about installation so assume it fit well...I will update this review in future if anything changes but so far so good...

Fits 02 S10 truck
These seem like good quality and don't feel cheaply made. I had to change my oil at the time so this helped with less oil spill removing the old lines. With an oil change I needed to add an extra half a quart, since I installed the two new separate cooler lines. Basic steps I took to install. I used a 3 ton floor jack under the frame and placed jack stands under the truck. Removed the old lines. I wiped a coat of new oil on the cooler line gaskets prior to install. Then torqued the nut down on the lines.

Great price vs others
It was such a headache trying to purchase this same part in other stores and then of course I came to Amazon and had no problem. The price here is amazing and the part was easy to put on my 99 Jimmy GMC. The specifics for vehicle and the part is very important when ordering. Very pleased.

It works with some twisting
So far it isn't leaking. When comparing it with the old one the bend on one was off a little and I I had to twist and bend a little to get the right turn for the end that goes to the radiator. The fitting was extremely tight. I had to use a flat head screwdriver and gently go around tapping it in to get the ridge past where the snap ring goes over. If it doesn't leak then I would buy it again.
