Quality and Worth Buying
I am a professional traveling musician (140 annual shows.) I can't afford to buy "junk" because of the potential cost of down time. I recently updated a sound booth at a church with corrected wiring. I also installed a proper patch panel for organization and ease of their sound & A/V needs. Not only did I order ONE set of these cables, but I ordered a second set. The wire quality is good, and has the "right" kind of feel to it. The metal connectors are quality and not rough. The locking snap action was clean and positive.I will order this product again the next time that I need to replace cables. I ordered shorter lengths for patching, but the cable quality would be PERFECT for any length run you need.Don't hesitate to use this company or these cables. They are quality, and worth buying.

good quality parts, no apparent strain relief
To avoid cable clutter, our band uses these three foot patch cables to connect wireless microphone receivers to the PA head at shows instead of having 25' cables on wired mics. We color coded everything so that each person's gear is always put back together, and so that it's easy to see who gets plugged in where. Bought these to replace the black cables with colored tape markers and painted plugs.Just received these and pulled them out of the bag. They came with twist ties attached and a set of 6 velcro cable wraps that will attach to the wires for easy storage. The colors look nice and the cable is quite flexible. The connectors seem solid, but there doesn't appear to be any indexing in the female end to force the pins to align correctly with the tab if you were to unscrew the connector to look inside - you must manage this manually, by eye. The color on the connectors is in the form of a plastic ring that could crack with rough use, but seems durable enough for almost any job and is redundant, since you can't miss the color of the cable. I did plug the connectors into each other, and to a couple microphones and a recording interface I had handy. I have had problems with loose or, worse, overly tight fits in the past that have caused problems with gear. These fit perfectly well and felt quite solid plugging in and out.The big downer is that there is no shrink tubing added at the ends to create a strong strain relief. The cable itself is flexible and may be a hair smaller in diameter than some others, and the plastic strain relief built into the connectors doesn't grab the cable firmly enough to provide the level of protection I prefer. If you never yank on these or try to pull them out by the wire, they should hold up fairly well, but I wouldn't count on reliability if these are in a higher traffic area or careless users go yanking on the female wire end instead of the connector to unplug them. You get what you pay for on these.I will probably unscrew all the connectors and add either a wrap or two of electrical tape or paint on some liquid electrical tape to add a little diameter where the cable runs through the connector's built-in strain relief and that will improve the durability. I use the correct diameter of heat shrink tubing on the cables I build, and I may decide to install some on these, but it's a hassle to desolder and resolder an end to make that happen. I only needed three, so I'll probably carry the other three as spares and add proper strain relief if they do fail in use.Still, the lack of sufficient strain relief reduces my confidence in the product and I can't recommend them as highly as I would like to. These would be 4.5-5 stars with proper strain relief. If I held back the last half star, it would be for the lack of indexing in the female plug, but that's something 99% of users are never going to notice. We're going to test them before they get used at a show, but these seem like they'd be a great cable for casual or protected use, and good enough to give them a shot on stage.

Well Constructed but not Premium Quality
These patch cables use medium quality cable connectors but the soldering is quite impressive for the price. Every cable tested perfect for analog signals 10 to 25KHz and only started showing losses at around 40KHz. I did not test them a digital AES/EBU signal. The only negative I have to say about them is that this is only a single audio pair (not a quad/star cable) and the shielding is a little thin. As a result, I would use them in a clean home studio environment but I would avoid using them in an industrial or high RF environment.I think they might last in an installed sound environment but I would not use them for repeated patching such as a sound stage. I do think they are a decent value for the money.

Great for connections in the Home Studio.
This is a connect once and live there forever sort of install, so I hoped to get away with something less expensive. so far I detect no issues and I think this will work well for a long time. great for connections between DI's and the Mixer, or between External processors and the board, with out using inserts. In this application, there will be no patching or changing the sources or the configuration. My use is unique in that we are a Ham Radio station, as well as GMRS Radio and we Live Stream a weekly "net" broadcast. Audio is coming in from vocal mic's, and from two way radios through direct boxes, and being mixed and returned to two way radios and a PC for the live stream. I hope this helps you understand my application and is useful in determining if these cables will work for you. BTW, the color coding is far more useful than I would ever have expected, having used only black mic cords.Best of luck

I would give this product 5 stars but....
There cords are awesome, they do what they're supposed to do, they are very durable, BUT the only grippe I have which isn't even really that big of a deal is that some of the colors of the cords are a but off. I'm a little OCD and like to have things a very certain way and get a bit fussy when they aren't. With that being said the orange cord isn't exactly orange, but more of a creamsicle color, and the purple isn't Rea;;y a deep purple but more of a plum or egg plant because it's a wee bit dark. The green isn't exactly a solid green either, but more of a forest green. All in all the product is great, but I has to take off a few points for the color difference. Thanks though!

Good quality. Good sound. Good looks.
I got new cables in the studio a few days ago and I could not be more pleased. Quality is good for sound and build, I even took an end off to inspect the soldier work and wire size. Having never owned colored cables before, I was most impressed with how much time and thought it saves in regard to labeling cables or going through the spaghetti bowl trying to figure out what connects where. That’s a lot of impressed for the dollar amount involved. I did my research before I ordered and I think this is the best bang for your buck.

Very handy
I bought these because I was using a mike on a desk, through a DI box into the computer, with a 3m XLR cable, which was ridiculous! These patch leads are ideal for the job, and I've since found other applications for them. Sound quality is pretty transparent as far as I can tell, they seem durable enough for purpose (I'm not going to be throwing this mike around a stage or anything) so well worth buying.
