Weiman Washing Machine Cleaner and Deodorizer - Cleans Washing Machines Without Damaging Clothing - 24 Fl. Oz.

I have my first front loading washer after 50 years of top loaders. I love the the front loader it uses less water and detergent and does a great job washing. But if you unload and close the door, as you would with a top loading machine, the next time you open the machine up it smells like a swamp. The front loaders retain some water and thus allow mold and mildew too proliferate. I remove and spray the delivery module ( soap, bleach, softener) and the inside of the machine with Weiman's Washing Machine Cleaner and leave the door open and then there is no mold or mildew and the machine stays free of unpleasant oder ready to accommodate the next load of wash.

Washing machine smells better using the Weiman cleaner and deodorizing spray, but you still need to use a bleach spray to rid the seals of mold or mildew. Seems to be a design flaw in most, if not all, front loading washing machines. Mine is a high end Samsung, and we wipe the rubber seals after each use, and then leave the door open to air dry. However, I still recommend the Weiman spray to help the problem.

Our high efficiency washer developed THAT smell. Think of the smell of a wet dog or laundry that has sat wet for too long. It developed out of the blue and definitely was not pleasant. I purchased this product after reading some great reviews. I was attracted to the ease of it but also trust Weiman products that I have used in the past.One simple application 5 months ago has helped our washer stay odor free. I will probably retreat soon just to ensure smells and mildew stay away.It worked for me. I sprayed the washing tub at night and washed clothes the next day. Smells gone, no other work on my part required. Great stuff!

I have an LG front load washer that gets the musty smell in it after washing, so after reading several reviews I purchased this and am pleasantly surprised it works nice. I have had no problems with residue on my clothes or in the washer once this is sprayed... I would repurchase this again and have recommended this to others with front loading washing machinesI have the plus water feature on my LG and noticed that once I started using that feature during each wash, the rim at the front of the machine isn't as musty as before. I do live in an area that gets humid in the summer and even with the front load machine open, it still can have an odor, this works great for that if I haven't done laundry in a couple of days.

We could not get rid of the mildew smell after we washed clothes. The aroma smelled like mold. We tried everything, but nothing worked. We saw this item on your website. After reading all the reviews, we decided to give it a try. It was a miracle from the first use. No more smelly laundry room. We would recommend this to anybody now. Thanks a million!

I stumbled upon this product when cleaning out my parent's home to sell. Used it on their washer and my old washer. Cleaned mine up so much it looks new. So found this on line and have shared my bottle with others. Seems not many people are aware of Weiman's washing machine cleaner but more are familiar with their kitchen cleaners as was I.

I like Weiman products, but be careful with this. We have well water, and Weiman products prevent the orange/pink scum residue on my washing machine dispenser trays (any standing water, like pet water bowls, too) that results from an enzyme in the well water, but it DOES stain clothes with a pink hue. I found I have to run a "quick wash" cycle on my machine, to flush away the product, before doing my next load of laundry (especially whites).

Weiman washing machine cleaner works as advertised. I simply need to spray the product into the drum surfaces of my front-loading washing machine as well as on the rubber gasket and leave it to dry by itself. No need to rinse, no need to wipe dry. Most importantly, NO MORE SMELL!
