In the past, with prior boats, I've always bought the individual letters/numbers, and took my time being careful to try to attach them as straight as possible. However, these were a game changing. Just telling them your registration number, then getting them all together on one strip, makes installation a breeze and the numbers are guaranteed to be straight. Be sure to read the instructions, but these are very easy to install. Work of advice though.....don't try to install on a windy day.

You just have to take your time and "iron it out" carefully. As they state in their instructions, just look online for "hinge method" of applying vinyl decals and watch a few videos of people doing it - you'll get it.

Even though these are for use on the side of boats we use these decals on our Company vehicles because they do not fade or fall off. They last forever on there.I have bought these 4-5 times so far and will probably by more as long as they are available.

The installation went fine using the "hinge method" shown in several youtube videos and as recommended by the maker. The only difficulty in installation was some of the numbers/letters did not release easily from the backer and had to be "encouraged". Squeegee worked very well. I'll let you know in 4 or 5 years about the durability!

These decals are terrific. I was scared to death to apply them, especially with the long and detailed instructions that seemed a lot to read and digest for a total novice. But I gave it my best shot AND (emphasis) watched a video on "decal install hinge" - as recommended by the seller. That made it all SO easy, and it all went very well. My only recommendations are to take the time to read the instructions and understand the process, and be careful not to let the sticky side touch anything until you're ready for it - being long and skinny, mine got away from me and almost ruined one of my boat numbers.

I was worried about applying these decals especially given the lengthy instructions. But they went on very easy. It probably took me about 5 minutes to do it and I was taking my time. They look great with proper height and spacing.
