Comparable to AfterShokz™ Trekz Air
I've had two pairs of Trekz Air previously and had problems with the mic so I decided to try these to compare. I purchased 3 pairs of the Vidonn F1 Sports.I loved the fit of the Trekz. The F1s fit my wife and female coworkers better than they do me. The Trekz fit me better. The F1s pull a little bit when I move my neck, but it just takes time to get used to. They do stay in place and sound quite nice. The sound is good on both. The Trekz have more crisp highs and flat mids. Bass is almost non-existent. The F1s have a bit more mid, moderate highs and little bass. The sound is not bad on either but they do both sound quite different and different than ear buds. I'm happy with either.Hands free calling in important for me and the reason I gave up on the Trekz. They were very susceptible to 2.4 wifi interference. The F1s do not have that issue. The noise cancelling is not as aggressive as the Trekz, but they do sound very clear, reduce noise, and even sound good while hiking or in the car. I use Polycom VVX601 phones in the office and they only have Bluetooth 2.1. The Trekz will not work with them. The F1s work great.Build quality is about the same. The Trekz are a little lighter and flexible, but I don't see a real difference in durability. The rubber on the back of the F1s appears thicker than the Treks. I'm not sure it really matters though. In conclusion, they are about equal overall for me. Functionally, the F1s excel and fit the Trekz do. For the price, there is no comparison, I will buy the F1s again and not Trekz.I also have a Plantronics Legend. The mic quality on it far exceeds either of these so don't think it will be that clear. Hands free call quality on the F1 was on par with a Plantronics Explorer though, maybe a bit better.

They are comfortable and are good to ride with
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Had these for about 2 months. Use the to commute with mostly about 20 miles each way. Been very impressed with the the sound and the ability to hear things around me. have a conversation while listening to music. If I am on a trail I will sometimes just put earplugs in to kill all wind noise. I was testing them out with my chop saw and vacuum it was really cool I could jam out. Hopefully video does better for review.

Decent headphones with one design flaw
I don't like earbuds and full headphones are impractical for biking or working around the yard, so I decided to give these "bone conduction" earphones a try. Short story: love them so far (I've only had them 4 days). Long story...SOUND QUALITYI put "bone conduction" in quotes because I don't think these conduct sound through the bone at all. They're basically tiny speakers that sit on your ear (or just slightly in front, see first picture). Because they don't plug or cover your ears, you can have normal conversations with people around you while still listening to music/podcasts/etc. If you're looking for something with either passive or active noise canceling, these are not your thing. As you would expect in something this small and inexpensive, sound tends toward the highs with quite a bit of tinniness. You're not going to get anything resembling real bass; though, if you sit very still you can feel slight vibrations just in front of your ears during bass-heavy songs. So maybe they are bone conducting after all...Mids are prominent enough and phone call quality is top-notch.I've used them for several phone calls and one video conference and no one complained about the mic quality, so I'll count that as a win. In my one recorded test, the mic was clear enough, about on par with your average laptop built-in mic.COMFORT AND FITI wear glasses, and generally find anything that hooks over my ears to be a problem. I've worn these for several hours at a time and barely notice them. When I don't need them, but want to keep them with me, they fit snugly around the back and sides of my neck without slipping. They have stood up to sweat, but I haven't drenched them yet. Overall, they're comfortable and horribly convenient and I'm already wanting to keep them with me at all times.DESIGNHere's the one thing I really have against them and the reason I knocked a star off the rating. The volume up and down buttons are on the underside of the right ear piece (second picture). This means if you want to adjust the volume using the earphones and not your mobile device, you have to jam your thumb up behind your ear and try to identify the buttons by feel, and to complicate matters, they're right next to the charging port. It would have been far better to have the two buttons on top of the ear piece so you could quickly identify them with your pointer finger. The multi-purpose button on the right ear piece is spongy and doesn't have great haptic feedback.BATTERYI received these Saturday before Memorial Day and charged them up immediately. I used them around 10 to 12 hours over the weekend before they died. It took about two hours to recharge them from dead. If they can keep that kind of battery life for a year or so, I count these as a good purchase.BOTTOM LINEIf you're looking for something to wear while exercising or working, these are comfortable and at least as good as any other small, inexpensive solution. They won't satisfy you if you need noise cancelling (so not for mass transit, or drowning out the sounds of teens fighting). They're also not for people looking for premium audio quality. They're cheap enough to essentially be a disposable item, which is perfect for something that's going to go through regular workouts.

Comparable in sound to ASTitanium
My son bought me a pair of AfterShock wired Titanium last year for cycling. They worked well, but the wiring kept getting into the way and I couldn’t use the phone with them without plugging in. After reading many reviews on different wireless headsets I decided to try these.Sound quality is comparable to the Titanium (wired). Wireless features are much better than wired and the price is the same as the other wired set I own.Size (head band) is slightly smaller than the wired Titanium which works for me as I find the AfterShock to fit a little sloppy. The F1’s seemed a little tight at first, but after using them for 300 miles, they fit just right. Mic seems to work well as I’ve used the F1 for many phone calls, however wind noise seems to be an issue with callers, so I have to pull over for them to hear clearly. Bluetooth range is more than I expected. I can leave my phone on the first floor and go out the basement door and it still connects. Yesterday I left my phone on the bike and went into a thick walled building (local old Armory) and still had Bluetooth connection through (3) thick concrete and brick walls (50-60’ from signal source) - that was a surprise. Not super high quality sound but still adequate- mids/highs are clear - bass is present but not like good sealed ear buds. The supplied ear plugs increase the bass but tend to muffle the mid and highs (but I’ve noticed that with the ASTitanium also). If you need fair to good sound and to connect with the outside world, these work well. Controls - volume, etc are well placed. With the current coupon, the F1 is a good deal. If the bass was a little better I’d give it 5 stars.

These conductive headphones work very well with hearing aids.
I wear glasses and have hearing aids, so regular headphones do not work well for me, since hearing aids have microphones that are located above the ear. These conductive headphones work very well and are comfortable to wear. They fit in front of my ear and do not interfere with my glasses or hearing aids. Sound quality is very good for the price paid. Highly recommend these for anyone with hearing aids.

Can only use for 35-55min at a time. They need more flex near the ear where it sits Good for Tinnitus
So the overall fitment is good, better than the more expensive brands. Now the component I would like to see made better is the padding that sits just in front of the ear itself. Just the "form" makes the bone conduction end dig into the cheek a bit and over extended periods can be a bit annoying to outright discomfort.Either way I have tried other brands and this one fits the best, sounds the best and works the best given the price range it's in.You are not buying these for HD sound like a Bose OTE headset, you are buying these to listen to speaking audio more IMHO.I use this for white noise for my Tinnitus and in order to work, you need to be able to hear conversations as well as the white noise, it re-trains the brain.I will admit I've tried sound test with the $$$ brands and this has better sound quality (not tinny), I've used this for 5 hours straight and on the 6th hour time to recharge so it's close to what is advertised.

Exceded my expectations....
Using bone conduction headphones is a totally new experience for me. I can't stand anything covering or stuck into my ears and decided to give these a try. I know that some reviews have questioned the quality of the sound but I find them to be very good and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. I can't compare them to other bone conduction headphones but these exceded my expectations.

A good option when you need awareness while listening to audio
I have wired and wireless headphones and earbuds. I needed something where I could sill hear what was going on around me. Sometimes I'd wear bluetooth headphones with the ear pads partly off my ears. These Vidonn F1 off the ear headphones do the trick, I can listen to music or the audio from YouTube videos plus hear what's going on around me and people talking to me. Sound quality for music is fine. Spoken word is clear. Best position as per the instructions is close to the ear canal. If I want to listen to music in hi-fi I'll use the over-the-ear full cushion earphones. Otherwise these do the job. I'm happy with them. These will probably be the earphones I'll take for travelling now.Update. I've had the F1's for a few days and liking them. They are comfortable to wear for hours. The part that touches your skin is on soft rubber suspension so it conforms to the side of your face and is comfortable to wear. Best is I can listen to music or spoken word audio and still hear people talking to me and be aware of what is going on around me. In loud environments, your ears will still hear the sound of the external noise unless you block you ears, then you lose the situational awareness.

Exceeded expectations
This is the first time that I claim something exceeded my expectations. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but what I got is an extremely clear sound while I remain fully aware of my surroundings during my walks and cycling. With that said, I must also mention that my intended purpose is to listen to audio books, not music. Music is not as forgiving but considering that the outside noise would impact the quality anyway, I'd have no qualms to use it for that purpose, too.Usually I am not impressed with Chinese product quality, but these seem sturdy enough to last at least a year. Time will tell.
