Very sturdy. A little gag gift I purchased for someone newly admitted to the State Bar.

I'm really happy with the quality of this paperweight/decision maker. It's intended to be a gift for my son and I think he'll get a chuckle when the box is opened Christmas morning. Speaking of the box, yes it could be of a better quality, but generally these are discarded pretty quickly, if not immediately in my family. I removed the paperweight from the protective plastic bag and for a nicer appearance, wrapped it in silver tissue paper. It fits into a foam insert to prevent any shifting inside the box.The item is made of heavy, silver colored metal and when I tested the function, it spun quietly and seemed to have a good balance. There are two "made in China" stickers; one on the bottom of the base and another on the side of the box. I believe these can be removed, without difficulty. Not so for the printed label and strip of cellophane tape securing it and holding the lid in place. With the top, the box measures 4.5"x 4.5" x 1.0" (An FYI for gift wrapping/bagging purposes).This legal decion maker has a nice appearance, looks to be well made and should serve as an interesting conversation-novelty piece displayed on my son's desk at his office. I trust he'll be reminded of me when the spinner lands on the "Ask Mom" option!

the bearing that the device uses is of poor quality - i can feel "clicks" and it tends to stop in the same area every time

Other people on here are trying to sell a cheap light weight knockoff version , I can only guarantee this listing .Firm , Heavy , very nicely weighted , smooth , high quality , spins beautifullyI bought this along with many other gifts as a thank you for my brillant viciously talented Lawyer who ripped my ex landlord and his insurance company to shreds , We walked away with over $ 400,000 spilt 50/50 .This beautiful item now sits on his desk.Comes in a equally nice box and cloth for buffing , I was very impressed , I didn't expect such nice quality for so little of price .

When making decisions for myself I tend to struggle with it but I know I can go to multiple different things if I needed to. For example, if you would need to make a decision between one thing or another, then you could flip a coin. Some people would go to an 8-ball and others would just spin a wheel to help them declare a choice of their own. But what if you need to make a legal decision? That’s when I stumbled upon this legal decision maker. The legal decision maker is a great gift and gag for future attorneys or wannabe lawyers but it has a few issues that could be simply fixed.The best thing about the legal decision maker is most definitely the quality. A lot of these decision makers can usually be made cheap and very breakable. This one though is heavy and makes a great paper weight for your desk or office at work. The maker is metal, solid and very unique compared to an 8-ball or regular wheel. Unlike a fidget spinner, when you spin it, it spins very quietly and soft so if you are in a super quiet office you wouldn’t have to worry about it making too much noise. Also, if you were worried about the texts rubbing off the wheel after a while then worry no more because the texts are engraved into the metal, making it super hard to even make a scratch on it. The quality is by far better than most.The legal decision maker also makes a great gift or gag for someone who is an attorney or wishes to be one. When buying it, it comes in a small box that could be easily be wrapped with some wrapping paper or pushed in a stocking for Christmas. You will really like the “Ask Mom” option if you are a mother buying this for a son or daughter mainly because it’ll remind them of you while they are at work. When I got this legal decision maker and messed around with it, I found out that you could make a very fun game out of it. Try making a fake case and picking someone to be the judge and other lawyer to play against. You could spin the wheel and try to win the case depending on where the wheel landed and use that method to win. It’s very funny and useful to spend some time with a family who knows how to debate. Having a friend who wants to be a lawyer thought it was hilarious and can make a great little gag an office.The was only 2 downsides with this product. One was mainly the box it was shipped in. It came in a s small black box that had a few bends on it. I’m going to assume it was just thrown a lot during the shipping process and messed the box up a bit. Another issue with the box was the tape and stickers it was surrounded with. Both the top and bottom had the “made in China” sticker on it and I believe you can just take them off but only one on the bottom should suffice. There was also a hand written tape on the top that had a possible chance of tearing the box’s skin off but it wasn’t too big of a deal. I think it could be resolved if there wasn’t as many stickers placed on it. The second issue was there wasn’t any instructions on how to use it. I think it would be nice for someone who hasn’t had any experience with being a lawyer to have some pathway on how to use it properly. Maybe some example questions inside the box could be a good idea.So, when buying a good quality legal decision maker for either yourself or someone else, I would recommend buying this one if you don’t have any care about the box or stickers on the box. It satisfied myself as a buyer for wanting something like this. When I first was looking for something like this, I was pretty shocked to see such a high-quality decision maker like this.
