Harbor House Cozy 100% Cotton Comforter Set - Classic Modern Design, All Season Down Alternative Casual Bedding, Matching Shams, Stella, Paisley Blue Queen(92"x96") 6 Piece

I first purchased this set 6 years ago from BB&B on clearance and I've loved it since! Sadly ours had seen too much love from washings and dogs (2 large labs) that I had to start looking for a replacement... I was having such a hard time finding anything nice that wasn't dry clean only... Seriously!? Why would anyone want bedding that wasn't washable?! This is easy to wash at home if you have a large capacity front load washing machine. The hardest part is getting it dry in a dryer, even at the laundromat. I think that's pretty standard with a king size comforter in general... If the weather is good I hang it out to dry over my deck railing, which is awesome because it smells soooo good after! We use this all year long, it's warm for the "CO winters". Sometimes we add a layer on top (we keep our house on the cooler side in winter) but usually it's plenty. It's not too hot for summer either. This is a soft, (not scratchy) comfy, well made bedding set that's feminine without being frilly. Which doesn't bother my husband and I really enjoy 😁Now it's labeled "new arrival" on BB&B's site with the "new" price tag! I'm happy to report that it was here on Amazon as well at a great price, win win!

I was disappointed in the color/pattern. Usually reviews are helpful, but there is a lot of misinformation on this set's color/pattern. I was looking for something w various blue grey ivory colors with a sharp well defined pattern. THat is not at all what I got- This is more a batik print..It tries to imitate hand dying- uneven pattern and uneven concentration of one blue on an nearly beige background. Appears identical to dirty acid wash denim.The back of the comforter is chambray, but the pattern on the front is definitely navy that appears poorly applied (not a flaw- its the pattern- its done deliberately, like batik) and the off-white is downright dingy. IMO it looks very cheap, sloppy inconsistent pattern lines and the blue appears as if you washed it and the color faded unevenly. See pics. Sorry for the glare, but ill probably return it so i didn't take it out of the package.Its nice and thick, heavy enough for winter, the measurements on the tag are a good size for a king mattress, and its quality cotton- I just hate the print. There's no way this boho-style comforter could ever make the crisp bedroom in the photos with the grey tones of that room. Its so warm- off- white, its beige, more tan than grey. It won't go with they cool bluish greys popular today. Beige yes- taupe, maybe- but its a warm background tone that to me looks dirty.

For the money it is TERRIBLE. I DIDN'T EVEN GET IT PAID FOR BEFORE THE BATTING BUNCHED UP. SO NOW I HAVE TO REPLACE THE DAMN COMFORTER. REALLY PISSED

I had looked at this comforter set for a year before purchasing it. Love the look of it, but the quality isn’t the greatest. I had made sure the filling was tacked in place before buying it, but the filling still bunches up and moves so the edges don’t hang nicely. Also, there are wrinkles on the top that I have tried to iron out with no luck. I am keeping it because the colors are perfect, but am not happy with the quality.

Much higher quality than I was expecting for the price. This comforter set looks like it costs $100’s more. I love the fabric - it’s a soft cotton and not scratchy. The comforter is oversized so it fits perfectly.

Ordering a bedding online can be difficult. I was between buying a new bedding or painting my bedroom. I can say I gladly do not have to paint my bedroom. The colors are pretty close to perfect! This is a beautiful set. It was packaged nicely. The accent pillows are very well made as is the comforter, bed skirt and pillow covers. It’s soft and elegant. This is a beautiful set at a great price!

It’s nice pattern and color but not quite the quality blanket I expected for what I paid. The comforter filling has shifted inside after 4 days. Unsure how this will do when we wash it for the first time. Two throw pillows are nice but for a king size they are disproportionate and I will need to find complementary throw pillows to add.

Absolutely an amazing set. Everything washed great. Was easily able to iron bed skirt, shams and decorative pillowcases after letting them air dry. Comforter washed and air dryed perfectly. Its an extremely comfortable comforter; soft and very warm. The colors match exactly with what you see online. I love this set!
