I was excited about purchasing this item ... I didn’t know that it was as difficult to grow a tree from seed. I’ve purchased a money tree once and it grew nice from seed . But I don’t think I did mine correctly some of my seeds was floating and I felt they wasn’t going to grow and I just threw the whole thing away. Received my refund the customer service was horrible. The head manager was rude when messaging me.. but other than that I think it’s a waste of time and money

Package arrived within two days and was neat & professional. Each of the five types of trees came with multiple seeds and an growing instruction manual to ensure a successful growth. 4 of the 5 seed types are ready to plant basically as soon as you recieve them and the other one has to sit in a bag with water inside the refrigerator for three months before it may be planted. This kit also includes 5 small starter pots, soil for each tree and a marker for each different plant. Personally, I haven't started growing any of mine yet because I would like to do some more research to make sure I can start my project completely correctly, but this kit is easily accessible for beginner growers and includes everything necessary to start growing immediately

Very unhappy with this set. TL; DR: they don't grow. I've had mine for 6 months and not even a single seed has sprouted.The instructions were not clear on a few points, such as which seeds needed cold stratification, so I contacted the seller. They provided guidance, which I appreciated, but hopefully they've clarified their written instructions as that is a big lapse.I followed the updated instructions I was given to the letter. Some seeds went straight into the pots, and some went into soil and into the fridge. Those are supposed to sprout, and then be moved to a pot. Not a single seed has sprouted for me - none in the pots, and none in the fridge - and I've been caring for them for just at 6 months now. I absolutely do NOT recommend.

This was a nicely packaged kit with great instructions. Three of the tree types have to germinate in the soil in your fridge for three months so it's hard to write a full review as this kit takes time. The directions are easy to follow and the kit is east yo use.

I started with bonsai at Christmas time and 3 or my 4 plants did sprout but only 1 seems to be okay. I bought your product in the hopes of getting a few more plants sprouting. To date nothing has grown and I do water daily and have them in the sun but I think the watering of the plants is difficult to judge and need more guidelines as I feel that I may be watering them too much when following the meter and the guidelines provided with the kit. It states that the plants should not dry out but also not be over watered. I keep my pots moist but without excess water draining into the saucers they are in and still nothing is growing. I am concerned but will not give up yet.

Ok so i dont know if this is great or not, it takes a really long time to grow these trees. Its actually 5 diffrent kind of trees. Im giving it a good rating based on how happy my father in law was to get this. He was so excited. He also had no trouble following the instructions. I didnt like that it looked as if it was all just tossed in a box. It was very messy and they need to work on packaging. But i bought it as a Christmas present and it was a great success, so im giving it a good review.

I used a peat moss soil and potting soil mixture for the seeds I got with this, as straight peat moss doesn't work to well in my area. I am currently stratifying the Chinese Juniper, Japanese Yew, and Trident Maple as per the instructions previded with this set. I am pleased to say the Chinese Elm has started to grow only a few days after placing them in the container you see in my picture. The fig seeds are behind them. I am confident I will get good many good seeds with this kit and I recommend it. I will diffently purchase more in the future.I love that Chinese Juniper and Japanese Yew seeds are included with this kit as they are hard to find. I think this kit would be a great gift for anyone looking to go bonsai from seed.

I wanted something fun for me and my cousins to do since were quarantining. I thought a growth challenge would be fun. I bought the set and I gave everybody a plant to grow. The packaging is beautiful. And it seems like you get a pretty good amount. The instructions are a little challenging and two of them need to stay in the Refrigerator and the other two can be left out. The ones that were left out never seemed to do anything. You put water in it wouldn’t saturate. And nothing would ever grow. We planted these in November and still we’re getting nothing. The ones that were refrigerated have a little bit of sprouting but once you take them out of the fridge the die. This was a cute idea but very disappointing.
