7+ month update EDITSCREEN IS STILL KICKING I dropped this one 15 times more and it held up better then the original apple.Sometimes there's a delay stutter effect. Tbh I'm running a 8 year old iPhone 6s with a Chinese screen...so what do you expect right? It's barely noticeable. Mainly around the keyboard cause your typing so fast half the time. Screen is still bright. Idk what else to say she still runs great! Okay a few things to note*At first I wasn’t expecting much. My hope was very low for this and I really didn’t bother to care. Let’s start with the shipping. Super fast came 3 days ahead of schedule without prime just classic free shipping. Box was really well made. Foam inserts and separation. Screen protector already on with another one on the side. Wipes, tools and tweezers everything was there. Now the screenIt’s a dummy thic screen obviously not from Apple so I’m sure they do there best to match but super thic. Was a bit rough snapping it back in as it was a millimeter off here and there. Don’t be afraid she’s pretty durable. Screen smoothness is legit just a fraction off. I mean if you care about gaming def go to Apple but I could deal without that extra frame rate. We’re talking less then 5+- frame rate loss. You could tell when you swipe your screen fast it kinda can’t catch up like the old one but it is worth every penny. The keyboard Surprisingly faster clearer than the original Apple screen fair warning you have to switch over your touch ID home button also be very very careful with the camera connector. It is one of the most sensitive pieces. You will have to switch the front camera as well because of reasons.Reasons being the new screen front camera connection is super loose. Even after taking out the original Apple one and I tried putting that same one back in it also was super loose but not as loose as the new screen so hence why you need to switch the front camera as well for a better connection that won’t pop out on you during installation. The other two connectors was fine. You will also need a smidge of super glue. Works in a pinch but if your messy kind of person just do without this isn’t a job for coloring outside the lines. You will need the glue for 3 things the home button. The screen edge. And the front camera. these are little connection pieces that will do better if glued down. we are talking the smallest of drops. what I did was stick a toothpick in the bottle and used a sewing needle to dap off the toothpick then I used the sewing needle to dab in the phone. Overall very happy 9/10 biggest issue one would have is the frame rate drop. Front camera did look weird but then I remembered I used the original camera so I was like wth is going on then I read somewhere that there’s a little plastic frosty piece that holds the front camera that you can switch as well tbh I skipped that step bc I think the new one looks just as good if not better And it had its own just wasn’t as frosty so let a lil more light in I was just able to tell the detail was different but I like the change. Looks not so dim anymore when I open the front camera anywho enjoy this kitTime it took me: 36 minsShipping: ordered on March 4th expected by the 9th but received on the 6thQuality: 10/10Screen performance: 8/10install: 9/10I will be back in a month to update this see if the rumors of these cheap screens are true where the glue starts to separate from the screen tbh I don’t think so but see you guys in a few weeks

Yep, I full-heartedly recommend this. For one it was easy to install and the video link they send made it easy. The tools that come with it worked fine, plus it comes with a tempered glass screen protector to install afterwards and the magnet pad for the little screws was a nice bonus. I swapped out the home button because if you use this one the fingerprint security won't work. As with all iphones, only the original home button will work as it is paired to only work with the original iphone motherboard. I can't tell a difference with the screen quality, looks the same to me but then again I am not a screen connoisseur. However I compared it to the original iphone front facing camera from my other 6S side-by-side and believe it or not, this camera is way better, it looks more vibrant, where as the original iphone was was dull and I looked pale.Overall, since this includes all the parts, you simply swap the screens, no need to fuss with cameras or digitizers, etc, other than the home button if you want to use finger print security, plus the front facing camera is an improvement. Highly recommend and would by again if my other 6S screen needs replacing. Good deal.

This is my fourth iPhone screen replacement in the past several years (not all on the same phone!).I waited to write this to avoid being swayed by an initial impression. After three months of daily use I'm just as satisfied now as the day after installing it. The process itself was very straightforward, iPhone screens have very tight tolerances so there's always a concern with fit and alignment when using 3rd-party components. The screen and connectors fit perfectly, actually better than the last screen. The magnetic screw-holding mat is a clever and welcome feature I've not seen with previous replacement screens. In fact, I initially forgot to replace one screw and didn't notice until I'd finished and scooped all the tools and clutter back into the shipping box. After realizing my error I pulled the mat back out of the box and was relieved to find the tiny screw still sticking to it.The display actually seems a bit more vibrant than the one I replaced, and the touch sensitivity is excellent. I had no problem attaching the ribbon cables using the included tools, and even swapping the sometimes tricky home button was fairly easy.Pros:- complete package, the only other item I needed was a rubber band to stabilize the screen as I attached the ribbon cables. All tools, documentation and even cleaning wipes were included.- magnetic mat. The mat has a picture of the phone innards so it was easy to stage and retrieve the tiny screws during the process.- quality. After three months I have no complaints at all with the sturdiness, fit and display quality.Cons:- honestly I don't have any. Of the four replacements I've done this was the easiest and most satisfying.Hence the five stars and a solid recommendation.
