My knee has been causing problems since my downhill skiing days and other braces have lacked support or been hard to size just right to the extent of cutting off circulation. This brace provided the support I needed, kept my knee from trying out any weird injurious angles and allowed me to use my rowing machine even when having knee issues. The adjustable straps are easy to use and this thing is generally pretty comfortable even if a bit too bulky for wearing under clothing (I wear it with shorts). Feels like it will hold up for years with a good quality build.

I have ordered this brace 6 times over the past few years - since I had knee surgery. The last time I ordered it (fall 2024) it was different - the configuration to fasten it has changed and more difficult to get it tight enough to stay up. I take it on and off several times during the day when I go outside. I suspect it was changed to make it fit more sizes but I won't order it again. I am judging it against itself - the one I have used previously and the changes made don't work for me.

These knee braces are very well designed and constructed. They fit a wide range of leg sizes and have two pocketed positions for the aluminum hinges which should work for most athletic legs. The Velcro closures hold tight and last a long time. Remove the hinges and fix the Velcro for easy washing. Great product that will add stability to your knee.

I put this on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of printer paper for size reference. First, the gel "donut" is only half, not all the way around. The other brace I bought from a different brand has a full circle of padding. The straps and Velcro are sturdy but one side is very, very short. There is no give to the straps at all which is good for support but the long strap also attaches to a very small area of Velcro, so I'm not sure how there is a "range" of sizes listed. The other brace (from a different brand) that I purchased based on the measurements, according to the directions, fit me perfectly. This is too small (and although the metal hinges are in the SM/M pocket, I did have them in the LG/XL pocket when I tried them, so that is not the issue). This item CANNOT BE RETURNED. My bad, I guess for not paying attention to the return policy. I thought it was an Amazon Prime item. Second, if this is NOT a returnable item, then I would love to know why the one that I received had CLEARLY BEEN OPENED BY SOMEONE ELSE, YET SOLD AS NEW. The clear security tape had been removed and was folded over the plastic packaging. This was NOT NEW, though it is not dirty, so hard to tell if it has been worn before. My guess is that someone else had the same experience that I did but was somehow able to return theirs. I try to buy items manufactured in the USA, when available. The item seems sturdy but is very poorly designed. This was a disappointment in the inaccurate sizing and a used item sold as new.

This knee brace is meant to adjust between small and large sizes but unfortunately I found that even though it "should" have fit me, it was just too large. If I could somehow have adjusted the "self-adjusting" cross pieces that would have helped but as is they are a superfluous bit of engineering. The design idea of pockets for the hinges is again a good concept, but not as functional as one would hope. So I did my best to adjust fit through the only option left to me, tightening the Velcro straps. But as I have to pull them too far to make it fit, there's not much room to stick them to, and then when I move the straps pop loose which defeats the whole purpose.It's especially frustrating bc I have torn both medial and lateral meniscus on right knee a few years ago and have not been able to afford my share of costs for surgery yet ( had to prioritize a shoulder reconstruction- full thickness supraspinatus tear and 3 cm separation, detached long head biceps tendon, detached infraspinatus... Sigh). AnywayObviously had high hopes this brace would carry me through.With all of that said, as someone who used to teach human anatomy ( yes human cadaver dissection) I can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of this brace. For the price, it's probably about the best you can get. Just make sure you're not aren't at one of the far ends of the size distribution. The hinges seem adequate and well placed for stability, the patellar ring is appropriately sized and located and of comfortable material. It's not going to last forever but for most people it should be adequate to get by until your situation resolves through therapy, surgery, or time.

I bought this because my knee was bothering me really bad and the slip on knee sleeve just wasn’t doing anything. So when I received this I put it on and have been wearing it ever since. I think I’m going to have to have surgery in about a week on my knee and this was definitely something I needed until surgery. Definitely would recommend to anyone. In fact my daughter hurt her knee last week and I was telling her about the one I bought from Amazon and she purchased the same knee brace. So that says a lot about the brace. Very satisfied 😊

I had my left knee replaced and still have some issues. Trust me NOTHING like before. But, I do need a brace for support and to ease the pain. For me, this offers the support I need with the comfort I desire. They are not bulky, so they fit well under your pants. They are about 40% cheaper here than in the drug stores. They are easy to care for. Remove the support hinges and toss them in the washer. They will stretch out over time. I got 18 months out of the last 2. I am good with that
