These were a lot smaller than I expected just by looking at the pictures.The hand portion itself is pretty flexible and wouldn't hold anything on its own. You'd have to use the Palm portion where the tongs are seated to pick anything up.They seem to be pretty good quality, the rubber feels smooth and cleans easily. Waste of money, I tried using it to grab pickles, olives, cheese cubes and wouldn't work. The little rubber hands do not hold the items and make them slip. Only thing it is possibly good for, if you don't want cheese fingers from eating cheetos, it would work.

I bought these for my son's at-home occupational therapy. They look like the ones his OT uses in our sessions to build his hand strength. But these have flimsy rubber hands on the end and can't pick up a marble or bead without dropping it, so they end up being frustrating. They may work okay for sticky stuff like a fruit plate or something, but hard marbles are a no-go.

These are my favorite because the gripping tips are molded on instead of slipped onto the metal. They are stronger, offer better dexterity and they don't come off in the dishwasher or get filled with schmutz.

These are really cute and my 3yo has no problem using them one-handed. However, the "fingers" of the hands are too soft to help him grip food, they just flex and let the food slide out. Even I was having trouble using them to pick up pieces of food.Also, he pulled the silicone hand off of the tongs portion several times in the first sitting, possible choking hazard.They will be part of his play things now but not for food/eating as I'd hoped.

I ordered this to replace my old ones that wore out. This brand is more durable and the length is perfect for even the bigger pots! Lobster, clams, corn on the cob, salt potatoes, etc., are all easy to grab.

For years I’ve used my old metals tongs or the tried and true plastic ones for non-stick cookware. I have good luck with Progressive products so when my metal tongs threatened to fall apart after more years than I care to say, I decided to give these a shot. I actually bought the 12 inch tongs first. I haven’t reached for either of my old tongs since I tried this product. I have now bought the 9 inch and use both all the time.

These are really cute. We give these to my 2 year old to develop better coordination. Came recommended by our therapist. He picks up and moves beads with it.
