Good for the light-sensitive sleepers
$8?! What a price! Very convinient and handy for travel as well. They are nice and comfy, and I like that they're adjustable. My only precaution would be if you have pets- they will acquire cat hair pretty quick and become itchy. Just a simple clean would take care of that. I like them a lot.

Great New Sleep Mask
Ok. I had an old sleep mask which fell apart, so I decided to do some research and get a new nicer mask. This came highly rated and it did not disappoint. It is super comfortable, blocks out any light, and I feel it is helping me get better sleep. I would definitely recommend.

Blocks the light and easy to sleep in!
This is the fourth time I've purchased these over many years. They are the best for keeping out light due to the padding at the bottom of the mask. They are comfortable and soft on my face. I also have a CPAP machine, with two straps around my head. This mask doesn't interfere with the CPAP and the elastic is not intrusive (I wish I could say the same for the CPAP's straps). They are definitely durable, however, my last two could not stand up to being stolen by a very active teething puppy. So what did I do? I bought three more.

Great for smaller faces/head
I used a Dream Essentials eye mask for years (different ones), but always had an issue with it coming off during my sleep. My face is rather small, I'm a 5'2 inch woman weighing about 125 to give some reference. While I love the Dream Essentials mask for it's great coverage, I had it pulled to tightest it would go, and after some wear and washings, it simply stretched out and was too big. I bought this Lewis N. Clark thinking I'd give it a try. It's much cheaper than the Dream Essentials, and I'm really glad I tried it. It's got a small, plastic clip in the back to tighten. When I saw this, I was a little nervous as to how well it will hold up, hopefully for a while! I can pull the strap tight enough and the clip is slim and unnoticeable when laying on my back. It lets in ZERO light, just what you need in a sleep mask. I also like that there's no elastic on the sides like the Dream Essentials to get stretched out. It's very soft and comfortable. I'll post later if I notice any stretching out/negative wear. Save yourself some $$ and get this one!****I've been using the mask for a few months now. I still like the way it fits and the coverage it offers. BUT, I have to say, IT STAINS EVERYTHING! The outside of the mask is navy blue, while the inside (the part that covers your eyes) is black. The blue side has stained my pillow case, my sheets, and bed comforter! I'm not sure why or what kind of die they use, but I now have one sheet set that I'll use because I don't want to ruin anymore sheets and pillow cases. This has made me very disappointed in the product. For that, I'd take away 2 stars. It does what it's intended to do, but who wants to ruin their bed linens? Oh, and I have washed it a couple of times thinking this would help, no such luck.

Favorite eye mask--dye problem seems to be fixed!
I have purchased three of these eye masks and really love it!I first bought one while in college so I could sleep while my roommate was working on her computer. I thought it was much more comfortable than other masks I had tried and did a better job at blocking out all light. I can just barely see some light come in by my nose if I open my eyes while it's on but it doesn't let any light in when my eyes are closed to go to sleep. I lost my first mask after graduating and moving and purchased a second when I moved to a new city. The second mask still did a great job at blocking out light but (like many other reviewers mentioned) bled blue/black ink onto my white sheets and pillowcases! I was so disappointed but eventually decided to sacrifice one pillowcase on those nights I really needed total darkness to sleep. After my most recent move I bought a new, nice set of sheets and decided to tough it out and throw out my mask so I wouldn't ruin them too. After about a month I had a few bouts of insomnia and decided to order this same mask again because I saw reviews that the bleeding issue had been resolved. I have been so happy and well rested since receiving my mask about a week ago! I slept on a dark towel the first few nights to make sure I didn't ruin my pillow case and didn't notice any dark marks. Since switching to sleeping on my pillowcases I haven't had any dye issues either. I'll update this review if the dye issues develop again, but that's the only thing stopping me from giving this product 5 stars! I'm not sure if I just got lucky, but I would definitely give this mask a try and exchange it if it bleeds (try sleeping a few nights on a cheap pillowcase or towel before sleeping on nice sheets though!)

I've tried eight different brands -- this one is the best for me.
If you tend to wake up a few hours early being short on sleep, yet have trouble getting back to sleep, try a sleep mask! They work like magic for me. -- better than any pill! I must have thin eyelids, because when it's dawn and my eyes are closed, I see orange, (my wife sees black). A sleep mask quickly gets me back into a deep, satisfying sleep, as though it were midnight. (It also gets me into a deeper, more productive sleep during limited timeframe naps.) It's like putting a cover over a birdcage, (birds automatically sleep/wake-up when you cover and uncover their cages, like a light switch.) I swear by sleep masks when I need deep, effective sleep within a limited timeframe. I've tried eight different brands -- this one is my favorite, so I've bought two more. It has a decent 1/2 inch elastic band, is the fuzziest and most comforting, fits most comfortably, and most effectively blocks light leaks/diffusion. (Also feels warm and cozy in the winter, yet is still good for summer.)

Blocks light and comfortable
Large enough to keep light from sneaking in, and comfortable.
