Stylish Keyboard
I wanted a gaming and compact keyboard for my lounge emulation box and this is perfect, inbuilt touchpad and decent size keys, it's compact enough to go in a draw but large enough to play with comfortably without hurting my hands. The touch pad is very sensitive but works a treat, the added addition of the left click mouse button in the top left of keyboard is excellent! Very handy. The illumination of the keys looks lovely and is perfect for playing in lower lit rooms as the evening draws in. The key feel perfect to touch and use for a cheap wireless keyboard this really does have a premium quality feel to it!

Lovley for the price, but with some Design faults
Pros:-Great keys nice feel and bounce.-Slim and light weight.-Decent keyboard size it's roughly 32cm long end to end, and 12cm top to bottom.-LED lights are very bright and come in Red, Blue and Green-One button LED control to change colours.-LED stays on for a decent amount of time and comes back at the press of any buttom from sleep.-Extra Left Click Mouse button on the top left above the escape key. ( this is very handy and makes the keytboard 4 stars and not 2 for me).-Battery is decent-Comes with a build in usb cable so you can charge easily.Cons:The Only con for me is the touch pads Keys. The left click key which only seems to work if you double tap it and not always then as some times it selects the tesx on a page instead of the scrolling option. (Why I use the extra phisical left mouse key above the escape key)I dont think this is a physical fault in the keyboard but rather a design fault. The right click key work fine.Following on from this the two touchpad buttons are touch and not proper keys which feels wrong.

Simple, effective, well made wireless keyboard + trackpad
I needed a new wireless keyboard and after doing a bit of research and reading some reviews, this Rii K18 Wireless Keyboard came up. One of the key features that made me look at this one was the trackpad and the overall size.Overall the quality is good as there is no flex in the keyboard, they keys are rubberised but more than effective and with the additional lighting for use when the lights are out, this makes for a great cost effective keyboard. Also it is very thin, light and does not take up much space making it portable. The setup is simple and straight forward with the keyboard connecting instantly. It goes into a sleep mode when not being used which makes the battery last a long, long time between charges. The cable management is also great with the USB charging cable hidden away when not required. The best part is the trackpad which works very well and means I do not need a mouse especially with my secondary setup from the sofa for this keyboard. Overall I am very pleased and will update again on the longevity but for the moment it is a fantastic bit of kit that works very well for the intended use case and is priced very well.

Good if you need it back-lit, otherwise not!
UPDATE - mousepad stopped working after a few months, sent back, wont be getting another one.Original review - All of my TV's have a little PC behind them, so I use wireless keyboards with the all, my no.1 choice being the Logi K400+, they do the job perfectly. However, it's difficult to type in the dark, so I went for this Rii, first impression are very good & the typing experience is accurate, with no odd key placement. The illumination is excellent & the colour choices are good, green for bright & red is better for a softer look. There are problems though, the most annoying, is no left or right click keys with the mousepad area, you have to tap the pad & this isn't always accurate, there is a left click top left, as with the K400+, but if you're using the keyboard one handed, holding the keyboard, scrolling & clicking (this is how you tend to do it when watching TV) then this is unusable. Then volume up/ down, a very common thing to do requires a 2 key command, so can't be done one handed again. Then the illumination is also a bit off, if you're not above, looking down at the lighted keys, you can see all of the bulbs underneath, this ruins the experience & they're very bright. Finally, even with a full charge & the lights going off when you haven't toughed them for a few seconds, the battery went flat after 2-3 evenings & you have to plug it in. With rechargeable batteries, my K400 goes for 2-3 months, so batteries may have been better. It is a good price & I would recommend the keyboard for it's illumination, but if you don't need the lights, get a K400+.

Light and responsive
Slightly smaller than a standard full-size keyboard - the Q and the P are about 1cm closer together. So typing on this doesn't feel that different.Construction is plastic, but seems reasonably high quality. It's light, but not so light that it feels flimsy. The top has a grooved effect giving it the appearance of metal. It's barely visible unless you look for it, but it adds a certain degree of style that plain black plastic would lack. Add in the glossy strip at the top and the backlit keys and you have a device that would not look out of place under a £1000 TV. I also like the easy-clean design of the keyboard - the keys are flat and there are no gaps, so any dust can easily be wiped off.Usage-wise, I'm quite impressed by how responsive it is, both the keyboard and the decent sized trackpad. The keys deliver sufficient feedback to feel confident typing quickly, and the pre-programmed function keys are a bonus. A charging stand would be a nice addition - as it it, I've re-purposed an old phone desk stand to hold it when not in use. Displayed like this, with the backlight on, it definitely gets noticed and commented on by visiting friends! So in summary - it gets my vote - highly recommended!
