It’s great for what it’s intended to - storage. Is it leak proof? I forgot to check. If you put candies in it, the scent of candies will eventually go through the plastic container. I purchased a lot for business purpose and it works great to put a bunch of stuff in it and hand it out. Is it the cheapest option out there? No but it’s reasonable and great packaging so never came scratched.

These are perfect for balloon storage and I love the labels that came with them. If you are a balloon designer you can't go wrong with these.

This review is for the 34 oz. size. I bought these because 32 oz. by weight of dry rice will require slightly under 34 oz. of volume, because of the air between the grains. These are generally well-made. The lids have three tiny sealing rings molded into the inside, designed to seal with the body of the jar. But this is where the problem lies. The rings don't seal water-tight. I filled a jar with water, screwed the lid on very tightly, and then applied some pressure to the sides of the jar between my finger and thumb. Water leaked out - which also means that air will leak past the seal also. Since I plan to wax the seal joint for dry food storage, it doesn't much matter to me. But it is a misrepresentation of the product to claim they are air-tight.

I use these for my daughter's treats and snacks for in the home and on the go. Sturdy and not too bulky. Love them.

These are very useful jars. I pack handcrafted bath salts in these jars. These jars are so sturdy that they are dishwasher safe (top rack) and can be used over and over. I encourage my customers to return jar to store after use for discount on next purchase. Please don't buy these for one-time use! Reuse over and over.

Love these jars. Just what I needed. They are perfect for holding baking and cooking ingredients, like special sugars, flours, and nuts. Attractive, lightweight, sturdily made, and can be stacked.
